Linking up with Carole ~ for today’s ten!
What snacks do you like best to munch on while watching a good ole football game?
Hmmmmm.
1. Pretty hard to beat chips and queso cheese dip! Do you read Jon Acuff? He has a thing for queso and chips. Recently he posted a t-shirt on Instagram that says, “Put Queso in my Face-o!” 🙂
2. Pizza. With extra cheese. These English Muffin Pizzas are pretty simple!
3. Jalapeno Poppers would be good. {Recipe last week.}
4. Popcorn. Popped at home. With salt. Or with salt and melted butter. And now and then a good ole bag of buttery microwave popcorn!
5. Chips and salsa! I’ve been making salsa the last couple of years and we really, really like it.
6. Cheeseball and crackers! Corned Beef Or Cheesey!
7. This yummy crunchy snack mix! Salty and sweet.
8. Bean Dip and chips. I have a favorite hot bean dip. MMMM.
9. Chicken Nachos. This is a favorite recipe of ours. I don’t think I’ve ever posted it. I’ve thought about it. I’ve noted that I should. So far…NOT DONE.
10. Gooey Bars. We need something sweet!
It looks like when I think “football”, I also think salty snacks! 🙂 🙂
What foods do you pull out if you watch football?

Mmmm gooey bars-that sounds yummy. Love seeing what everyone lists-definitely finger foods unless it’s chili.
They are yummy…unless you don’t like peanut butter and chocolate! 🙂
Finger Foods do rule the day, don’t they?!
Great list!! Wow – these all look so good!
It’s fun to see the variety of ideas!
We are not football watchers – I really enjoy it but my husband is not a fan. But I did look at your gooey bars on Pinterest the other day and decided I need to make them again very soon. I like to make snack-y foods when we play board games. We enjoy soft pretzels with cheese sauce, cheese ball, sausage & cheese balls (do you see a theme here with the cheese? ha!). And we love the “White Christmas” party mix but we call it Floor Sweepings.
Pretty hard to go wrong with cheese! 🙂
Soft pretzels!! That’s a good one! We used to make them every so often. We eat snacks most Sunday evenings.
Snacks and board games are a great combo! We don’t watch football a whole lot in this particular season of life, but we have in the past. But these foods would all be good movie night eats!
