I remember my Mother fixing this cheeseball when I was growing up. I always loved it. When I was a kid, I didn’t care for the dried beef/corned beef version of cheeseball and it seemed like it was popular and if cheeseball was on the menu, it was the one! My Mother would make both kinds and I was always so happy to have this one. I still like it, but I also really like the beefy cheeseball now that I’ve grown up, or at least gotten older! My daughter really likes this Party Cheeseball, so I’ve passed my taste for it on.
It is easy to make and it adds a pretty pop of color! I think the two recipes are yummy and pretty served together. Not mixed together, just served together!
Recipe time!!!
Ingredients
- 4 cups shredded colby-jack or cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. onion salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp. celery salt
Instructions
Beat softened cream cheese. Add mayonnaise and mix well. Add Worcestershire, shredded cheese and salts.
Stir till combined well.
Form into a ball or place into a small bowl or dish. Cover and refrigerate.
Or use a cookie scoop and form into small individual cheeseballs!
Serve with a variety of crunchy, yummy crackers and enjoy!
I like to remove cheeseball from refrigerator a little ahead of serving time, so it can soften a bit!

Yum! I do love a good cheese ball!
Me too! I seem to be a fan of snacky food! π Chips and bean dip…popcorn…party mix…
And now I am hungry for cheese ball. Either kind will do, thank you!
Yep, I like both kinds too! And it always sounds good when you haven’t had it for a while!
The dried beef cheeseball was always my fav but I like this one too!
I think the dried beef one is usually the favorite! I really like it now, but didn’t as a kid. ‘Course there are a lot of foods I like now that I didn’t as a kid!
