Did you have a good Thanksgiving?
We spent Thanksgiving at my parents.
In the afternoon my sister and I and my daughter and her daughters helped decorate my mother’s house for Christmas.
It was fun!
My sister had brought a big box of boxwood and added greenery all around for a beautiful touch of the season.
Mother has several Nativities and we unwrapped them and found places to display them!
We put this pretty pink cottage over in this corner of the room, along with this cute pickup pillow from Sew a Fine Seam.
Mother decided her birdcage looked rather summery, so we discussed what the corner needed.
“A pom-pom wreath!” I proclaimed suddenly. “You need a pink and white pom-pom wreath!”
We agreed it was just what the corner needed and I promptly started on one.
I really love crafting them.

That’s what I’ve been working on!
Isn’t this cottage so homey?! I love it!
And how ’bout a pile of pears to look festive?
I haven’t read much since we were visiting family. I still need to finish Made with Love and Parenting.
I met a friend for coffee and lunch and she sent home a sack of rainbow yarn with me to make dishcloths for her. It looks fun, but I haven’t started in yet.
I’ve talked about these Lego books before ~ my son has loved them! If you have a Lego lover in your life, these books make terrific gifts.
The Lego Book and Lego Minifigure!
Giveaway news……………We have one running for The Giving Manger Set and tomorrow we have one starting for a fun children’s book, Charlie the Tramp, so stop back for that!
Linking up with Ginny and Frontier Dreams ~

I really like my pom-pom wreath. Thank you for making it. 😊
It was fun!
