Happy Thanksgiving!
Giving of thanks.
Always.
Always so much to give thanks for.
The giving of thanks and thanksgiving living changes us. I’m convinced more all the time.
I’m putting up a giveaway for The Giving Manger today.
I thought I would post it in October, but I didn’t. We had other giveaways and the weeks slipped by.
I’m glad, really. This makes a perfect giveaway for Thanksgiving.
I absolutely love this story and idea and the hands-on incentive that make up The Giving Manger Set.
Children’s books are a favorite of mine. I also love quality products and creativity and beauty.
Here’s a little background about The Giving Manger from their website~
The Giving Manger is a fun + interactive Christmas tradition that helps families focus on giving, the true meaning of Christmas and the spirit of service. This complete box set includes:
The act of serving and giving and thinking of others.
Of thinking beyond ourselves.
Of giving to Jesus when we give to others.
That’s what the giving manger is all about.
I love the visual this set creates.
And the intentional thinking and doing inspired by this book with its pieces of straw and wooden manger and baby.
Here’s a peek inside the book!
I love the pictures.
My sister gifted us with a set last year, so this will be our first year to fill our manger! I’m very excited about it.
I gave our baby nieces their very own Giving Mangers as early Christmas gifts, so they could enjoy them in December. They are still a little young, perhaps, to grasp it completely, but little people understand and take in so much and comprehend things better sometimes than grown-up folks! 🙂
Enter for an opportunity to win a set of your own or to GIVE to someone you love!
May Thanksgiving and giving warm every good day we have!

Some of the best gifts I have ever received in December were our daughter, our first grand child and our 2nd grandchild who is due in about 3 weeks.
Definitely some of the best gifts EvEr!!!! Happy celebrations!
I love giving handcrafted gifts. I work on them all year for Christmas.
Such fun to have projects you enjoy and use them for gifts, too!
I love giving handmade gifts.
So fun!
Deborah, “A Delightful Glow” gives many gifts to me. I see a simple, thankful, and loving life, filled with joy. It makes me appreciate the important and simple things in life, that God gives every day.
Thank-you for your sweet words! This is certainly the ideal I’d like to live up to, but I definitely don’t always! 🙂
Have a wonderful Christmas season!
I received a MacBook last Christmas. That was pretty awesome. I like to give gifts that really matter rather than made in China plastic toys.
How fun! 🙂
I love to give special ornaments! kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you.
That is such a fun gift with such special meaning!
I like to give gifts that I’ve found to have meaning or help in my life. I am gifting my sisters with the Advent that I did last year.
Yes! I often gift things or books that I really love.
I’m curious what Advent book you did last year. This year and last year both, I strongly considered the Advent book from She Reads Truth, but didn’t do it either time.
This set is absolutely magical! One of the best gifts that I’ve ever received was HUGS from a family we helped with Christmas gifts one year. They invited us in and we put the gifts under the tree. Then we held hands, their family and ours, in the living room and Thanked God for his amazing goodness. It was the most meaningful Christmas gift ever, and still brings tears to my eyes.
Magical is a wonderful description for this set!
What a wonderful memory and experience!
This looks like something I would just love to share with the grand kids.
What a sweet book. I love how it looks like it was made from cut paper
My favorite gift to give to my sons and grandsons is The Dangerous Book for Boys.

I prefer to receive homemade gifts from my kids.
I enjoy giving interesting things that I have won by entering giveaways or purchased at thrift shops or yard sales during the year.
I like to give and receive baked goods.
One of the best gifts I’ve ever received was the laptop from my sister 4 years ago
Thank You
I love this manger. I am a giver of gifts, but the best gift I ever received was a puppy.
