Linking up with Ginny and Frontier Dreams ~
These two books have been my current reads. My current dishcloth sits on top. Summer life definitely slows my knitting projects.
A Million Little Ways. Oh my! This book tucks me in close and speaks to my soul and offers invitation to dream a little and poke at places and think and give thanks.
The Penderwicks in Spring. New adventures for all the Penderwicks and a new Penderwick to get acquainted with!
LOOK!!
I am so, so excited about my kid pick this week!!
Isn’t this book the most fun? Just the most fun!!
I saw it recently at a little shop and was quite tempted to tuck it into the crook of my elbow and purchase it, but I didn’t.
My mother handed me a wrapped package along with my birthday card. The package was the perfect size for a book! I tore open the paper to FIND………..this book!!!
Everything I Need to Know I Learned From a Little Golden Book.
Aren’t the pages adorable?!

Oh, I just L.O.V.E. I.T.
That’s just a peek at a few of the pages.
My mother saw this book at my aunt’s house earlier this year and immediately ordered one to give me for my birthday.
I had never seen this book or even had a hint of its existence until I spied it in that little shop.
I’m really happy I left it there that day, because it was so much fun to find out my mother had it waiting to give me and to hear the story behind it!
Speaking of children’s books; isn’t this a great title?! I came across it on Amazon and I’m intrigued, simply by the title and the cover. I added it to my check-it-out-closer-and-read list.
Cornelia and the Audacious Escapades of the Somerset Sisters
I adore all the words in this title and the way it flows. I suppose even if the book isn’t very good, the title half makes up for it?!! 🙂
I pulled my daughter’s baby picture book off the shelf this week and leafed through it a little.
And look at this beautiful picture.
It was in a birthday gift from one of my friends.
I love the verse, love the reminder to Live out our Stories and love the typewriter!
Embrace today and relax into your story on the happy days and the hard ones. Live life!!!
