That Kitty likes this book, I think.
The Shy Little Kitten.
I love Little Golden Books.
When Renae was small she had a Go Fish game. The cards were a larger size and instead of fish on the cards, each set was characters from the Little Golden Books. There was the Saggy Baggy Elephant and the Tawny Scrawny Lion and the Color Kittens AND the Shy Little Kitten.
The Shy Little Kitten was my girlie’s favorite. She was always so, so, so excited if she was able to collect all four of the Shy Little Kitten cards and have a match to lay down.
I was at Target a few weeks ago and there in the baby girl’s clothes was a line of clothing featuring the Shy Little Kitten! It is absolutely adorable!! Hop over here to Target to see it.
I got started with the ball of orange yarn that I’d tucked into my bag last week! Half-way along.
Still reading Anne and various other titles. I started Invisible by Jennifer Rothschild. Not too far along yet, but I like it. I love books that are positive, encouraging and inspirational. It is. I worked through a Bible study, several years ago, by Jennifer. The title is Me, Myself, and Lies and it’s a favorite of mine.
I also dug out this devotional. It’s been a long time since I read through it.
What’s inspiring you this week?

I loved Little Golden Books as a child, I read them to my children and now I’m reading them to my grandchildren! Classics that never go out of style. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, how fun! Classics indeed!
My daughter has all of my little golden books that my mom saved. She also has the shy little kitten. I’m headed to Target later today for other things. I”m definitely swinging by the baby section to check it out!
So fun that your daughter has your old books!
And it’s definitely worth checking out the adorable Shy Little Kitten clothes! I was at Target yesterday and got a sweatshirt and a t-shirt, from that line, for my little nieces. Just too cute!
