For several years, I’ve chosen a specific book {or books} to read for Advent and the Christmas season.
When I had younger kiddos, we had a set of children’s books for Advent we delighted in reading.
This year I have a small stack of reading I’ve been anticipating. Honestly, it’s probably too large. But I’m excited about each one and will read as I am able.

This led me to compile some titles and studies here for my comrades who like to browse and who might be seeking a book idea for Advent this year.
I haven’t read/studied all my suggestions, but they’re either books I have read, want to read, anticipate reading, or have caught my eye more than once. 🙂

I’d love to hear any of your favorites for Advent and/or what you’re reading this year.
Here’s the list in no order of importance…..

The Advent of the Lamb of God by Russ Ramsey

O Come, O Come, Emmanuel study from Lifeway

Shadow & Light by Tsh Oxenreider

Sacred Holidays by Becky Kiser

Becky Kiser also has two study books for Advent, He Is and For All.

Prepare Him Room Advent Cards from Gracelaced

The Gospel of Luke Illustrating book

The Greatest Gift by Ann Voskamp

God Came Near by Max Lucado

Unwrapping the Names of Jesus by Asheritah Ciuciu

{Come over to this post to see a set of beloved children’s books of ours for Advent.}

I thought that was a cross stitched bird and not a picture i the book! It looks so real.
It really does, doesn’t it? So pretty.
