We started harvesting this week!
Hooray! We’re always glad to start gathering in the crop, once it’s ready.
There’s just something about harvest, despite the long hours and busy-ness and bit of hectic.
I’ve stitched a little on a dishcloth and thought a little about starting my other fingerless mitt, but otherwise my yarn-y projects have patiently waited.
I finished Every Little Thing.

Still reading Presence and Out of Sorts.
There are things in both books that make me ponder. There are thoughts that I resonate with and things that I don’t so much.
I’ve also been thinking recently how even in the books and ideas that I connect with and/or really love, I still rarely agree with every single thing. It made me muse about all the debating and differences that arise. It made me wonder if perhaps we need to be better at agreeing to disagree instead of pushing our point.
I’ve had One in a Million in my to-read stack since September and I pulled it out and put it on my nightstand.
I figured now was as good a time as any to read it. It fits in well since I’m working on Armor of God and reading through Fervent again. All things Priscilla Shirer! 🙂
I also have been reading in this book again.
The Power of God’s Names. It also fits in since Tony Evans is Priscilla’s father.
Here’s my kid pick!
This sweet, little rhyming book ~ If Jesus Came to My House.
My mother gifted it to my children for Christmas a bunch of years ago.
It has dear pictures.
Short and sweet Yarn Along this week!
My days are focused on wheat and food and cold drinks right now.
I have Harvest pics I hope to post tomorrow!
What are you doing on your summer days?

I really like Priscilla, also. We did a lesson or 2 in Armor, then our kids lives got in the way. We will be doing Breathe this summer…maybe that will help! We can keep at it easier then. Sewing has pushed my knitting back in the corner for now. Hoping to pull it back out later in the summer. I like to knit my dishcloths the color of spaghetti sauce!
I’ve sort of fallen off my blogging, too and hope to get back at that.
Spaghetti sauce colored dishcloths is a grand idea! 🙂
Enjoy Breathe. I haven’t done that one.
It’s a blessing to have projects and things to work at!
Just put “One in a Million” on my TBR list – I’ve read “Armor of God” but none of her other books. Thanks for the recommendation!
You are welcome! I love TBR lists. 🙂
