Linking up with Ginny and Frontier Dreams.
Yellow pom-poms. I wrapped and cut and tied and made a few more this week. I still plan to put together a smaller wreath with them if it all comes out like I’m thinking.
I finished the cozy! Love the colors. The cable pattern didn’t turn out, just as I was suspecting. Therefore I named it the Crazy Cable Cozy. Towards the end, I *think* I realized I may not have been adding the stitches back on the needle in the right way. I also had several times when I ended up with too many stitches and then not enough, so all in all, it was just somewhat a mess! While I really like the look of this yarn, it wasn’t the easiest knit. It has some fluff to it and was really easy to catch it or for a needle to slip into the middle of a stitch.
I will try the whole cable thing again sometime, but for now I’m going to give it a rest.
I made a pom-pom out of the bright yarn. I stuck it on top of the jar and when I saw it sitting jauntily there, I dubbed it a doodlebug! Ha!
I just started my fingerless mitt project again last night, but no pictures of it till next week.
The three books I’ve found myself picking up the most often this past week are Fervent, Mover of Men and Mountains and The Hobbit.
I’m enjoying them all.
I very highly recommend Fervent. Let’s pray over our lives and pray against our enemy.
We read Mover of Men and Mountains years ago. Last year Tucker read it for school and I’d wanted to read it again as well.
Kid pick this week is The Lego Book!
These books are so awesome. My son has a few of these different Lego books. This one is his favorite.
It tells the story and shows history of Lego. Just very cool!
Legos have been a very big part of our lives for a good ten years!
{Here’s a few posts that contain Legos ~ A Lego Birthday ~ A Lego Pirate Ship ~ Some Lego Creations ~ and a Lego Crane!}
Here it is Wednesday already, friends! May the rest of your week bless you.
Wish I could be there to help with the cable stitches. It really is easy to do.
I usually have to do something the wrong way to figure out how I SHOULD have done it. 🙂 🙂
The cosy is so cute! And such a gorgeous yarn.

Thank-you! I really love all the colors in the yarn.
