Yesterday was all about paper shreds and crafting nests!
Today we’re breaking out the glass glitter!
We’re going to glitter eggs, but you can go right over here and see my glass glittered pumpkins that I made more years ago than it seems it should be!

I’ve had my bottles of glass glitter for a long time. I love this stuff.
And it just looks pretty in the bottles.
I use them in my decor.
My sister now has glass glitter in her shop! Find it here!
Last year, I just glittered a few of the biggest size of eggs.
This year, I wanted some smaller ones, too.
The tiniest ones, I picked up last year and the speckled ones I picked up at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago.
To Glitter Eggs~
Gather:
Eggs…of the plastic sort
Glitter…of the glass variety, any color
Glue…Elmer’s
Pan…I used one with sides and lined it with parchment
Paper…scrap or whatever you have handy
When I glittered my pumpkins, I used a small foam brush to coat the pumpkins with glue.
With the eggs, particularly the small ones, I found it easiest to drizzle on some glue and then rub it around in my hand to coat the egg.
I also tried using modge podge and tacky glue, but for this I liked Elmer’s glue the best.
Then, I dropped glue-covered egg in my bowl with glitter and gently rolled into around to coat it.
Sometimes, you may need to let it dry and then dab spots with glue and do a second coat.
Glass glittered eggs!
I love adding them for a sparkly touch here and there.
{Striped egg is sparkly and glittery too, but NOT made by me! 🙂 }
Bring on the sparkle and shine!
Happy Tuesday!
{If you missed it, I showed a shredded paper nest craft yesterday, that is perfect for tucking glittered eggs into!}
