Linking up with Ginny and Frontier Dreams and Decor to Adore.
I snapped some pictures just-around-the-house again for this week’s Yarn Along.
I finished this Bible study book this week. Faithful, Abundant, True. I started it back in September and worked slowly along! It’s a six-week study. Kay Arthur teaches the first two weeks. Priscilla Shirer the next two and Beth Moore the final two. I really enjoyed the mix of authors.
School book stack again! We’re almost to close them for the summer! Well, except for reading-more-for-fun. I like for Tucker to keep reading something.
My messy side table. Looks like it’s time to tidy up!
Books and such. Prayer journal and Gratitude journal!
Just some yarny stuff around the piano!
Kid Pick.
Corny Cornpicker Finds a Home.
Renae’s Uncle gave her this book when she was a baby. My brother had it when we were growing up and I always loved it.
Tucker and I were discussing books this week and he mentioned this one. I exclaimed that it would make an excellent kid pick for Yarn Along.
Here’s what I’ve found myself picking up to read this week.
The Penderwicks on Gardam Street
The Power of a Praying Wife and The Power of a Praying Parent.
I like to re-read chapters in both these books every so often. Very good inspiration and encouragement to pray over your people.
And Fervent. I keep skimming it, plus I’m joining in on Fervent Fridays at Going Beyond.
Morty! He hasn’t peeked in for a while and this seemed like a good week for him to say, “Hey!”
THAT KITTY caught wind of it, so I snapped a picture of him and Monkey Alex.
I will remind you again that we have a terrific giveaway package happening right now ~ if you haven’t had a chance to see it or enter, go right to this post.
Oh happy dances! I finished my fingerless mitt. It has several imperfections, but I’m so happy to have it finished.
Now to get the next one on the needles!
My aqua stack is growing! Along with a heart.
My medley of projects.
I was going to show this last week and forgot. It’s the beginning of a leaf scarf. I wasn’t sure what I thought of it, so I stopped on it and started on the red instead. I’m still uncertain if I will continue on with it or if I will tear it out.
And I added some more to my leaf scarf from last week!

I love to crochet, but I just can’t seem to find the time to do it in the summer months.
Summer definitely brings its own sets of projects! I like summer, though.
Your work is lovely, and your mess makes me feel like a hoarder. 🙂
Is that a button coaster on your side table? Where did you find it?!
Haha! Don’t feel like a hoarder. {I have bigger messes at times.} I’m not a hoarder, but neither am I minimalist. I drop things and make stacks and then I get to a point that is BUGS me and must be cleaned up! 🙂
YES! That is a button coaster on my table. Isn’t it darling? A friend gave me a set of four of them. They’re four different colors. And I don’t have a brand name for you to try googling. I know there are some pictures of them in some of my past blog posts.
Try googling button coasters. I just did and there are some cute ones on Etsy! Let me know if you find any.
you have some really amazing knits. my fingerless gloves are still gathering dust, in my knitting basket. i like the coaster’s, i usually have only one project going at a time!! have a wonderful weekend!!!
I’m bad {or good} at seeing something and wanting to jump in and try it! Therefore I start more than one thing………….. 🙂
And I’ve noticed something about unfinished projects. They wait very patiently!
You have some great ideas. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you came by!
