Linking up with Ginny and Frontier Dreams ~
It’s a finished dishcloth! This yellow-ey/gold one has been on my needles for a while. I found another aqua one in my knitting bag when I was rooting around in it. I’m ready to do the thumb gusset on my fingerless mitt.
I gathered up supplies for my cross stitch project, but I haven’t threaded my needle yet!
Maybe I will have progress next week.

I was planning to start Entrusted in September.
Then my sister asked me if I wanted to join a fb group studying Breathe that started in September. I decided I did want to go through Breathe and so I bumped Entrusted back. I’m still reading 2 Timothy with my Scripture cards during my study time.
I officially started Breathe on Monday. I’m already captivated. It’s a study on making margin in our lives, on embracing Sabbath and rest, and God’s creation of rest.
After I knew I was going to do this study, I kept noticing different uses of the word, Breathe. It showed up in a couple of songs. I instantly thought of my Just Breathe necklace from Creative Carmella and shared a picture with the group. I noticed some signs and decor with references to breathe.
I love how details pop out because of the things happening in our lives.
I watched the first video for Breathe. Priscilla Shirer and Beth Moore and Kay Arthur held Deeper Still events together for several years and the message and study of Breathe came from the last of these gatherings.
In the beginning of the video, Priscilla is thanking Kay and Beth for their teaching and mentorship and friendship to her. She thanks Beth for carrying out the teaching and work that had been entrusted to her. It leaped out at me when Priscilla spoke this to Beth, because Entrusted has been much on my mind and Paul mentions what has been entrusted to Timothy in the first chapter of 2 Timothy.
It was long before the beginning of Beth Moore writing the Entrusted study, when this Deeper Still event happened and Priscilla spoke. Details that pop out and intrigue me.
I have been so blessed by so many men and women’s study of and delight in God’s Word and willingness to stand up and share it and pass it on to others walking in Christ’s kingdom.
Rhinestone Jesus and Grace For the Good Girl are both still hanging out on my bedside table!
I hadn’t read a good series for quite a while. It’s been fun! This series of Richard Paul Evans is so easy to read, yet it holds a lot of life lessons and simple-yet-profound lessons.
I talked about The Walk last week. I needed to get to the library for the second one. We were in town and “Yay!” the second one was back at the library. Most of my reading time has been focused on these books right now.
KID PICK…and Morty too! {Morty says “Hey!” He’s so happy to hang out with the books.}
When I was putting away a few things from family and littles here, I spied this book on the floor by the bookshelf.
The Berenstain Bears and the Week at Grandma’s ~
I said “Aha!” to myself and dubbed it as the Kid Pick for this week.
Brother and Sister have so much fun staying with Gramps and Gran!
I cleaned and pulled out some fall decor on Friday.
This adorable burlap pumpkin from The Little Green Bean ~ find her lovely pictures and handmade items here on Instagram.
I switched out my bicycle pillow cover for this bright orange leaf! My pillows are handmade by my sister from Sew a Fine Seam. Here is her shop and you can follow her on Instagram over here. She posts beautiful photos! And she has such fun pillows and designs!
THE INSPIRED ROOM COLORING BOOK!!!
It’s been patiently waiting. I kept wanting to take time and color some of its pages and kept, well, NOT. I finally sat down a couple of different times over the weekend and brushed color on the pages and flipped through the book and let my mind rest.
I was so excited about this coloring book when I found out Melissa Michaels had it coming out.
The pictures are so homey! {Of course!!!!} 🙂
My opinion is that it would make a very fun Christmas gift for the homemaker or home decor lover in your life. Find it on Amazon here.
I’m excited about this new devotional! You can pre-order it here. I’m on the launch team for it!

Love the Maple Leaf.
Those Berenstein Bear books never get old eh? Our third is three now and he’s always picking them out of the bookshelf – I was doing the same thing over 30 years ago 🙂
My brother and I loved reading Berenstain Bear books together. Do you have any dvds of them? My kiddos had a couple and they were pretty cute, too.
I love my Maple Leaf pillow, too. And it makes me happy to have my sister’s pillows in my decor because I think about her when I see them! 🙂
