Linking up with Ginny and Frontier Dreams and Life and Yarn!
I won this coloring book in a giveaway a week or two ago. Isn’t it delightful?
A quick look inside!
Cute lil’ hedgehog pair!
I’m happy about this study! It starts online tomorrow at Lifeway Women for summer Bible study!
This title was the PeRFeCT thing for my kid pick this week.
It rhymes and is a sweet lesson for littles all about the armor of God.
I finished this pom-pom wreath this week. Finally! It has patiently waited for a couple of months at least. You can see a DIY of my first pom-pom wreath over here.
I like this color for harvest and summertime!
The rest of my knitting projects have been pretty quiet this week! I worked on freezer food and did some garden work and trimmed boxwoods and roses.
A friend asked me this week for some book recommendations for summer reading. I thought about it for a bit and the shared a few titles with her.
I thought I’d share them here for you today, too. I think I’ve mentioned them all in previous Yarn Alongs. If you’re new here, you may not have seen the posts or if you did read them, and you’re anything like I am, you may have thought, “That book looks good.” and then forgotten about it.” 🙂
I recommended Fervent to her right away because is has been so much on my mind and I love the message and call to fervent prayer.
I thought for a little and then added these ideas. Any of Holley Gerth’s books. Particularly, if you are seeking an encouraging voice to speak life and just soothe and encourage!
I really resonated with Max Lucado’s message in Glory Days.
Then, The Seven Laws of Love popped into my head. Knowing my friend, I think she will like this one a lot.
Have a good Wednesday!
