Have you had winter and cold temperatures in your part of the country? We certainly have! Today it’s in the forties and sounds like we’re supposed to see sixties this week. I won’t turn that down. After below zero lows and gray, icy days, I’m doubly grateful for sunshine. Friday’s sunshine gave me pangs for springtime, I admit.
I enjoy cozy and wearing sweatshirts, lighting candles, and curling up under a blanket. Yet, the sunshine and bird song is causing my heart to lean toward open windows, growing green wheat, and daffodils popping up with a cheery hello.
We have a beautiful book giveaway today to make us think springtime all the more. Hooray!
Glenys Nellist has a new book perfect for Easter baskets.
Twas the Morning of Easter
It’s so lovely. A beautiful telling of the death and resurrection alongside lovely illustrations. I like the sweet rhymes and the reassurance of the promise of Jesus and hope in Him.

This book looks amazing! The illustrations look fantastic! I can’t wait to read this to my children! We β€β€β€Jesus!
To answer the question for the book giveaway, I would have to say my favorite tradition of easter is making resurrection rolls for my kids, and making the connection between Jesus! Its something they look forward to every year!
what a cute book. We have Little Mole Finds Hope and we love that one!
An Easter tradition I love and hope to have again one day is a big family potluck dinner.
