Today is Tuesday! And today’s Tuesday list topic is

Ten of My Favorite Things Right Now!!!

I was all kinds of happy when I read Carole’s Tuesday prompt.

This is so much my kind of category! 🙂

Several of these things I’d thought I would blog about sometime and as all things go, hadn’t done it yet.

I grabbed my camera and went around snapping pictures of ten everyday things in my home that I’m simply loving and enjoying right now.

ONE

This wall grouping of picture frames and pictures!

I keep slowly adding and trying some new things in our basement.

My husband hung these frames for me over the weekend and I’m so happy every time I look at them. I found the frames at Hobby Lobby.

They add such a bright spot to the wall they’re hung on.

TWO

These popcorn bowls from World Market.

We like popcorn really well and we like a good popcorn bowl to eat out of!

I found some plastic popcorn tubs at Target a few years ago. We have used them a lot and they worked well, but a couple have cracked and broken. These bowls are metal or a sort of enamel and they are just a favorite right now!

I think this popcorn bowl is a really cute one and I also like this one over here.

I think World Market still has the bowls just like mine.

THREE

Listening to my daughter play piano!

Back in December, right after my surgery a friend texted me and asked if we were interested in an older piano that hadn’t been used a lot.

We decided we were and my husband and our brothers went and hauled it home to our house.

Moving a piano is a bit of a task. Let’s just say it that way. It went well, but boy, they are heavy! It made my just-worked-on-back have a little shiver at the thought of trying to lift a piano right then.

We’ve been so glad we bought it.

Our daughter serenades us many evenings.

Throughout the day sometimes, music will come wafting to me in whatever room I’m in. I love hearing it!

Definitely a favorite right now!

FOUR

This lovely, red plaid HOME pillow made by my sister! Find her stuff over here on her blog if you’ve never seen it! She makes and sells the best pillows….and does a whole lot of other cool things as well!

FIVE

This is high on my list right now.

It’s a mortar and pestle that my dear man brought back from Haiti for me.

It’s been sitting on my island ever since and I just love it.

I’ve always thought it would be kind of fun to have one. Seeing it also reminds me of their trip to and time in Haiti and the people there and the needs they have and helps me remember to whisper a prayer for them and a prayer of thanksgiving.

I really, really love the look of it in my kitchen.

SIX

Food in the freezer! I fixed some food a couple of times recently and stuck some casseroles in the freezer. It has been so nice to have something to pull out and bake. I’d love to have my freezer stocked all the time, but it doesn’t happen! Thankful for the times it does! 🙂
