Last fall I brought you Ten Handy Helpful Housewife Hints. Today we’re blessing your life with ten more!!!!!!!!!!
………………………………………………………………….
1. The dryer works better if you turn it on! The clothes will actually get dry!!! Amazing.
2. That moment when you remember, “Oh, yes! I DID put towels in the washer and they’re probably not going to get dry, just sitting in the washer.” It seems the dryer also works better when the clothes actually get put into it.
3. It truly helps to find the photo you’re looking for on your computer, IF you look in the folder that you PUT IT IN, instead of a different folder.
4. One of the best exercise programs in the world works like this. Need something from basement. Grab things that belong in basement to take down as you go. Put things taken down away. Go back upstairs. Remember thing that was needed in first place that was forgotten and left in basement. Go back down to get it. Repeat as many times as desired until you feel you’ve had a sufficient workout and/or things are put in their proper places.
5. If you want your phone to charge, it helps to grab the correct charger. Trying to force a charger that doesn’t fit into the plugin does not work. A little like Cinderella’s stepsisters trying to wear the glass slipper.
6. When folding laundry, if you have clean laundry and dirty laundry in the same vicinity, doublecheck that it is the CLEAN laundry you are folding. Pre-folding dirty laundry BEFORE washing really doesn’t save time like it seems like it could. 😉
7. Even if you’ve been a homemaker and baker for over twenty years, it’s STILL a good idea to check the center of your brownie for doneness before snatching it out of the oven and placing in on the cooktop to cool. You just might find yourself cutting into it later and finding “Hmmm, still quite raw in the center.”
8. If the top shelf of your refrigerator is quite sticky and dirty and in need of some scrubbing, it gets much cleaner if you ACTUALLY wipe it down instead of posting about its need of a cleaning on fb. {But more fun to post about it.}
9. If you drop a letter or bill in the mail, it goes through the mail system much better and more quickly, if you actually put a stamp on it. They are much more likely to send it on instead of returning it to you.
10. If you want to adjust the volume on the radio, it helps to turn the volume knob in comparison to turning and turning the station tuning knob. You can turn it all day and your volume won’t change one whit. Nope. Not one.
{Laundry must be a mental menace. It seems to have won the most-mentioned award.}
I would like to sincerely thank my sister, myself, a couple of my cousins and friends for their help and giving of their time and trial and error and in-depth study to bring this list before you. 😉 Much sacrifice has been made by all involved. Much, I say!!

All the laughing faces! And number 3 – amen. Engaging this one in a timely manner may save you from much stress and even a few tears.
Timely manner. Hmmm. Do I know the definition of this?! 😉 Ha!
Love all your #soclosetoamazingmoments.
