A friend of a friend asked me about book suggestion gift ideas for our mutual friend and that’s all I needed to do some pairing! 🙂
I thought it would be fun to bring you some favorite book pair ideas of mine for your consideration!
Add them to your personal library or use them for gifts for the book lovers and readers in your life.
We all have different tastes and personal preference, but this might prompt your own book pairings!
Sometimes books hit us in just the right season of life to encourage and inspire us in whatever situation we’re in.
Here’s my list of ten pairs:
No. 1
It’s All Under Control book and the 6 week Bible study by Jennifer Dukes Lee. These make a beautiful set and contain beautiful words to encourage you that you don’t have to micromanage everything and you can rest in God, because He most certainly can handle it.
{If you’re new around here, I have posts about this book here and here.}
No. 2
These are super fun journals. If you have a friend or sister or daughter who loves to make lists, journal and seek out joy, this would be an awesome giftset!
The 52 Lists Project and 52 Lists For Happiness.
There’s also a new journal in this series called 52 Lists For Togetherness!
No. 3
Another book and Bible study set!
All about friendship and navigating the path of finding and keeping lasting friendships. Lisa-Jo Baker’s definition of Guilt-Free Friendship is my favorite!
Never Unfriended and We Saved You a Seat.
{You can read more about this set over here.}
No. 4
Journaler and hand-letter-er in your life?! I recently reviewed these journals and love them! They would make a great gift bundled up together.
{More pictures and a peek inside them in this post}
The Faith & Lettering Journal and Illuminate Your Story Journal.
No. 5
All things home! I love cozy home and creating home and these books are among my favorite home books. Pretty pictures, great tips and all manner of inspiration to fill your home with what you love and works for you!
The Nesting Place and Cozy Minimalist Home by Myquillyn Smith.
No. 6
Jane Austen fan? Pride and Prejudice paired with this fun novel, The Austen Escape by Katherine Reay. Although, undoubtedly, most Jane Austen fans probably already own Pride and Prejudice. 🙂 However, an in-depth book lover will often love owning a few different editions of a book!
No. 7
Home planning books! These are both full of fun details.
The DIY Home Planner by KariAnne Wood and The Home Design Doodle Book by Marian Parsons.
{The DIY Home Planner post here and another post with both books right here.}
No. 8
Books about BOOKS!!!! What could be better to gift a reader than a book {or two} about books?!
These books both offer different types of inspiration about books and reading and I love them both!
Book Girl by Sarah Clarkson and I’d Rather Be Reading by Anne Bogel.
No. 9
Flash by Rachel Anne Ridge and Fervent by Priscilla Shirer.
I paired these two together simply because I love them both so much and both books spoke into my life. They contrast a bit for me personally. Flash offers a gentle voice of comradeship and encouragement and Fervent speaks deeply to me to be a fierce warrior when it comes to praying with heartfelt fervency to my Father about all the details of my life and for my family, friends and relationships.
No. 10
Another beautiful set! These two books are gorgeous together and filled with beautiful artwork and encouragement to grow where we are.
GraceLaced and Garden of Truth.
