Look at the darling book I have to share today!
It’s a heartwarming story with charming pictures.
The true story of a Labradoodle and His Toddler Best Friend.
Here’s what the back cover says:
An uplifting tailย tale of friendship, foster care, adoption, and hope.ย
The moment Reagandoodle first set eyes on Little Buddy, he knew his world was about to change. What he didn’t know, was that they’d brighten hearts all over the world.
Told with his warmth by Reagan himself, fans of Reagandoodle and Little Buddy hear the true story of how one adopted dog and a foster child develop an unforgettable friendship.ย
This book gives a look inside the heart of caring about and caring for children in foster care. It shares the story of one Little Buddy as it raises awareness of the needs of foster care and it’s told in a delightful way by none other than Reagandoodle himself. I think this book would charm most anyone! Very well done!
Reagan shares with us what it was like for him to be “adopted” and transition from his farm to a new home. It ties in beautifully with the many new things and challenges children in foster care face.
You’ll find Sandi Swiridoff at @Reagandoodle on Instagram. She is Little Buddy’s grandmother and Reagandoodle’s adopted mama.
Projects:
I’ve been wrapping Christmas presents and slowly getting out Christmas decor. I love the coziness the long evenings bring to this time of year. Winter is my least favorite season, but it has its lovely details too.
I took pictures of my nieces and nephews and finished up the editing the beginning of the week.
I baked several pies for Thanksgiving. More than I needed to, really, but I was in the mode and I like making pie. Once I started, I kept thinking of pecan and apple and sugar cream and oh, wouldn’t butterscotch taste good?! My son did not discourage me in this! ๐
