Hi to You today! 🙂
Want to make a paper flower or two?
We did Christmas ones over here. These are the same, just any-occasion paper. January is a good project month.
I like making these and they’re easy. They can make me feel just a bit fumble-fingered when I flatten them to glue them in the middle, but it really is easy.
I can guarantee any project you find on A Delightful Glow isn’t going to have much of a high-difficulty-factor if I am the one actually creating said project! Ha! 🙂
All right. FIRST, we need paper.
Well, first GaTHeR supplies.
We need:
PAPER
SCISSORS
GLUESTICK
FOLDING SKILLS
HOT GLUE GUN
BUTTONS OR STICKERS
Cut three strips. Same approximate width and length for each one.
Time to use folding skills. Accordion fold each strip. Like so.
Find your gluestick.
Glue strips together so you have ONE long strip.
Fold it all together and if it seems to uneven you can trim edges with scissors to make them more uniform. Mine are very imperfectly perfect!
Glue ends together with glue stick. Now you have an accordion folded circle. {I keep spelling accordion wrong. If you aren’t a speller, this won’t matter to you. It totally bugs me, because I always liked spelling and for the most part it came easily to me. It doesn’t so much anymore. Ack!}
Flatten your circle out.
Bunch your circle together so it meets in the middle and use hot glue gun to glue it together in the middle.
Choose a button or puffy sticker or some other embellishment and hot glue to the center.
I cut a small flower out of the paper design from the paper scraps and used for the center of the small pink flower.
Paper flower fun!
Customize them by using Christmas paper or Easter paper. Spring or fall colors. All sorts of options! Hooray!

I love paper crafts. I have a hoard of stuff stashed away that I want to create with – I just never find the time. Someday I’m gonna just pull it all out and do some crafting – you know – in my spare time! heehee!

Yes. That spare time. Heehee! I’m thankful for things to keep busy with, though. I know you are too!
