Outdoor party decor.
That Kitty. He was great help folding laundry this week!
Peaches needing used. Chopped them up and trying a peach cup recipe for freezer.
Hmmm….doesn’t look like Kansas.
Renae had a birthday celebration over her half-birthday. She’s been planning ever since her birthday to have a couple of friends over her half-birthday, so she could do summer stuff. It was a fun time, although it ended up falling right after a busy weekend and busy several days. It seems to never fail, that things just happen in bunches.
We kinda/sorta crashed for a day.
Then it rained. 4 inches rained. I’m not even sure what our total ended up at. We woke up Thursday morning and it was raining. After checking the weather and rain gauge, we decided to pack up for a few days in Colorado. Pretty much how our farm schedule works! We visited Colorado for a first, two years ago. You can go over here to see posts from then. Well, we were actually through Colorado with my parents in 2002, but to spend time and visit Colorado itself, our 2013 trip was a first. I’m still not a mountain lover. They are pretty. Very pretty. But I don’t love heights and the curves and drop-offs get to be enough. Matthew really enjoys the mountains and I think Renae loves them more than ever. She really, really loved them the last time. Maybe someday she will live somewhere in the mountains?!
I laughed to myself on Thursday morning. You really never know what your schedule/day might end up holding!
I still have ocean pictures I’m playing with. Now mountain ones and a couple different ideas with pics from Renae’s party stuff.
That’s all for now!
Happy week y’all! {I recently told my man I wanted to be from Texas, so I could use y’all.} {I think it’s cute with that southern accent, but it doesn’t go with me so much. 🙂 }

[…] We spent a few days in Colorado at the very end of July and right on into the beginning of August. I posted just a few pictures in this Monday post. […]
