I was ready to leave for Bible study last Friday afternoon, {I THINK that’s when it was}{if not it was some other day and some other time}{such an important detail} and I thought to myself that I should have my girl take a few pictures.
I rather liked this combination that I pulled out of closet and drawers.
Then I was in fine form and managed to close my eyes or look exceedingly odd in most of the pictures my dearie daughter took for me.
Ah well.
I salvaged a couple.
The knit skirt is also over in Wardrobe post #20 paired up with a different shirt.
And you’ll find the shirt over in Post #3 along with some more of my picture mess-ups! Ha!
Oh, and the new flexi for May is here EARLY! For Mother’s Day, you know! Go take a peek at it.
Monday was a beautiful, lovely, wonderful spring day! We worked outside in the evening and mowed and built a campfire.
This morning the gray clouds are skating across the sky and we woke up to very LOUD thunder and lovely rain. Matthew started a project yesterday. He is putting up a roundtop storage shed. He had a friend coming to help him get it up and going. A couple of other friends also ended up coming and they got a good start. The plan was to continue today, but this damp weather changes things up! And that’s ok. We are soaking up the still-much-needed moisture.
I’m very grateful to sit here in my chair and peck at my keyboard and look outside at the clouds moving, moving and the wheat waving in the cold, north wind that’s blowing. It’s quite good and cozy to be tucked safely inside.
Happiest of Fridays in your part of the world!
