Today in our wardrobe {post}….we have a cat!
This is Tiger!
My son took pictures for me and he’d rather snap of the cat than of clothes! 🙂 🙂 He loves his cats.
{So you get a close-up of shoes.} {Lands’ End a long time ago!}
Knit skirt. From Wal-mart or Target. Your guess is as good as mine. And I’m too lazy to get up and go look for the brand.
The Indian design shirt, as named by my man, is from Target. I have a soft, sweatery-material turtleneck under it that came from Cato. It’s a favorite of mine! Really comfy and cuddly.
Lilla Rose headbands! I’ve had fun mixing and matching them. Like in this wardrobe post! And in this one.
I’m wearing the Sparkling Clear and the Sparkling Silver bands. Love the silver!
And have you seen the new look and updated site at Lilla Rose? I really like it.
Oh, and I keep wanting to tell you about my Christmas gift from my sister and haven’t taken the time! I thought I’d put it in a Wardrobe post, because it goes with clothes and color and style. I’m not going to even fully take time today, because I don’t have any pictures of my Color book.
BUT, backstory first.
Several years ago, a few of my sister’s friends found this lady who “does your colors”.
“What,” you may ask, “Is that?”
She has all these cool swatchies and she figures out what colors look best on each person, according to your hair color and skin tones and all that sort of stuff. Lee has been in this business for years. She totally loves it, loves her ladies and is very good at it!
Also, in the past few years, I’ve seen some websites and talk around here and there online about colors and wearing your best colors.
My sister’s friends sang the praises of going and doing this.
Two or three years ago, my sister and I talked about going when I was there at Christmas, but it didn’t work out.
It finally worked for my sister to go in 2014. She took my oldest niece last year for her birthday. And then, FINALLY, it worked for me to go at Christmastime.
{Moral of the story is, sometimes it just takes time to meet a goal or get to do something! It only took us a few years.} 🙂
It was really fun. I enjoyed it and my sister and I had a fun day out!
Good conversation, good laughs, good food.
And colors!!
I’m a clear spring.
Lee categorizes by seasons. You may be a winter or an autumn or a spring or a summer. And then inside each season there are variations.
My niece is also a spring {fistbump} and my sister is an autumn.
I think it would be fun to take Renae sometime.
Lee gives you this cool, little book of color swatches to keep with you and to whip out when you are shopping for clothes.
SOOO, I did pretty much tell you about my color experience, but I still hope to take some pics of my cool color swatch book! Yay!
UPDATE: You can hop over to this favorite things post to see photos of my little color book that I keep tucked into my purse!
And this {Above photo} is what you get when you tell your son, you want him to take a few full length photos. With a very impish twinkle in his eye, he snapped several and then told me to look at them. “You wanted full length, right?” he says.
I have NO IDEA, NO IDEA where his mischievousness would spring from. It totally has me mystified.
{Oh, ok, perhaps a small idea or two.}
With a cackle or two, he took the camera back and snapped a few more photos while I attempted to smile brilliantly into the sun. Haha!
Lots of fun!
Happy Friday!
Whatdya pull out of your wardrobe this week?

Ha, my husband takes similar photos when I say I want “full length”! Your skirt is really cute, and so is that cat!

Love your mischievous son. And by the way, the apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree. Teehee! Love the pics
I assume you mean, HIS GRANDMOTHER!!! {maternal} Ha-ha!
Or perhaps, Grandfather….or father….
Or some such like that!
