I’m amazed at how long ago the beginning of a week can seem.
When I flipped through to see what pictures I had taken this past week, I thought, “We did that just the beginning of the week?” It seemed like it was much longer ago!
Hello to painting fun and art class and creating laptops out of cardboard!
Hello pretty muffin tins and chocolate chip cookie cupcakes! Hello to grilled hamburgers and frozen pizza! Hello to Ghiradelli brownie mix and thanks to my friend who introduced me to it!
Hello to getting to help another farmer with corn harvest a little bit! This made my farmer man-and his family-happy! We don’t have corn on our circle this year. Cutting corn is pretty cool and every year, at fall harvest time, my man wants to cut corn. 🙂
Hello to my daughter being invited to a cookie party! Hello monster cookies! This was the recipe she chose to make. She was asked to bring one dozen cookies, baked, and five dozen, unbaked. She brought home molasses cookie balls, oatmeal chocolate chip, and oatmeal. Not everyone could make it to the party, so there didn’t end up being five different kinds.
I was happy she chose monster cookies because it is a huge recipe, so now we have cookie balls in our freezer, plus we had extras to eat. And monster cookies go well with fallish weather, I think!
Hello little wooden bench that my son built out of scraps and pieces of wood from our on-going-halted-for-summer-and-farming-house project! And hello to building steps in the garage! Hello to playing our own version of kickball/soccer with my son and hello to sore muscles! (That’s what happens to a mama who doesn’t run around playing ball very often.)
Hello mirror! My plans for you are to remove the little hearts and put you back on the dresser you belong with.
Hello old hinges out of my old farmhouse! Hello to working on clearing out and more prep work for the end of the old farmhouse! Hello to taking down our pop-up pool! I think that means the end of summer. Hello to getting my teeth cleaned! I always love the way they feel. Hello to praying and hoping for my brother to feel better. He has been having pain for too long and it needs to be resolved. Hoping this week someone will be able to do something that helps. Hello to a giveaway here at A Delightful Glow! Go enter if you haven’t! Hello to playing Uno and Bananagrams! Hello to three weeks of school down! Hello to a lovely afternoon chat with a friend. Hello to a week off from cleaning the doctor’s office! Hello to picking apples-thanks to a kind neighbor, who offered to share!
Linking up with Lisa!
What did you greet last week?

Those little hearts on the mirror have me chuckling! I remember putting them there a long time ago. It was the in thing. LOL Love the bench made out of scraps. T certainly has engineering in his blood( from Grandpa Phil?!). I always look forward to this review of your week. So fun to see what you’ve been doing and how the Lord has blessed you.
I like the little bench too. And he definitely has a perchance for building at this point in his life!
Chocolate chip cookie muffins? Do tell! And I love monster cookies, I think they are my favorite. We said hello to our last weekend trip away as a family of 5 and hello to a new Beth Moore Bible study.
A weekend trip away sounds fun!
Oh, what Beth Moore study? It is always so exciting to dig into a new study!!
The choc. chip muffins are irresistable! I should not make them because I have trouble staying out of them! Here’s the link: http://www.marthastewart.com/312464/chocolate-chunk-cookie-cupcakes
I got the recipe from a Martha Stewart magazine several years ago. I will have to go add the link in my post. I most often use choc. chips instead of chunks, because it’s what I have on hand. Also if you have foil or parchment liners instead of paper, it works much better. The choc. chips want to stick to the paper liners.
🙂 LOVE the bench! And I’m laughing about the hearts too 🙂
I agree! 🙂
hello! hello to clean laundry and dishes and week full of fall.
Your hellos are all very happy hellos! I love having all those things at my house. 🙂
