Today I am sharing some really cute reusable bags that recently came to live at our house. Thanks once again to Etsy! You can find them in this shop.
I’m liking them! It seems like we often have things like one muffin or a poptart that need stuck in something and I find myself pulling out a sandwich bag to stick them in. Sometimes, just a few hours later someone is eating the snack and throwing the bag away. Sometimes we save the bag, but we don’t always remember. So, it seemed like we were wasting a lot of bags. I finally took the time to browse online and order some reusable bags. There are lots of selections out there!
I liked the Chevron stripes on these and I could get them in four different colors.(I think there were close to a dozen colors to choose from!) I liked getting the different colors, so I can assign each one of our family members their own bag if we want to!
Do you have or use reusable bags and do you have sizes or shapes that you prefer? When I was browsing, I found bags that closed with velcro, but then decided I liked the idea of a zipper much better. Probably my biggest drawback for the reusable bags is not being able to see inside them like you can a plastic bag. Other than that I am enjoying trying them out and using them!

CUTE! I usually use plastic (re-usable) containers but they take up too much space.
I use plastic/Tupperware containers too, but they do take up more space and sometimes I don’t have the right size or shape and it’s just easy to grab a bag!
Those are really cute! I don’t have much storage room in my kitchen so I don’t seem to have much reusable stuff. Maybe I should try them though! They would look much cuter on the counter than the plastic throw-aways!

Super cute bags!!!
We do use plastic zipper bags, but my family is all trained to set them on the counter when they are done with them. I will personally wash and dry them until they are ragged. Hehehe… My mom used to do this so I was already trained for it myself.
I like your bags better though anyway. 🙂
Take care,
Dee
I wash some bags, but I tend to throw sandwich bags away…
Great job on your family being trained to put the bags on the counter. I love peeking at other people’s habits. 🙂
