I’ve been happy to have several giveaways to bring you recently. I like giveaways! They’re fun to host, fun to enter, and fun to win!
As always, I’m thrilled about this one! It’s just fun to share about things and ideas I love! And part of the fun of getting to give away favorite stuff!
Last year, Crystal from Money Saving Mom published a Gratitude Journal.
When I first saw the inspiration for a gratitude journal, I loved the idea. I am a journal-y, writey, paper type of person.
You can see my Gratitude Journal over in this post.
I really enjoy jotting down a few memories or a few happy things in my day or week. Being specifically thankful for things from little to big, has blessed me.
I read recently that some study showed that people who take time each day to name a few things they were grateful for were 25% happier. That’s a big deal! Especially, for not that much effort required. Simply taking a few moments to stop and say thank-you.
I believe more and more all the time, that our lives, our marriages, our relationships are very affected by our attitudes and our focus.
Life certainly is not all roses without any thorns, yet life is a glorious gift and God is so good and I have so much to be thankful for.
I haven’t felt very good a lot in the last year. I wouldn’t have chosen slow days and pain. But I’ve learned lessons and patience and I’ve felt God caring for us and I wouldn’t undo the good from the experience.
I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I still wouldn’t say, “God, give me hard things, so I can find the good in it.” Yet, I wouldn’t change it.
It doesn’t make sense and I can’t explain it. I just know and believe that God is faithful and God sees me and I know it better today because of yesterday.
Crystal sent me one of these bright, cheery Gratitude Journals and she is giving away a copy to one of you!
I loved the colors of this journal when it was released last fall and I first saw it. I am a color lover and the colors of this journal were definitely very fun to me.
And the pages and design inside are very fun too!
I also really love that it has a book mark ribbon! I like the ability to easily mark my page.
I am all about pretty books. And children’s books. And beautiful cookbooks. And fun-to-read-can’t-put-it-down books. And bright, cheery gratitude journals. π
Check out these fun pages and inspiring quotes!
Lots of room to jot and journal and even to add illustrations and lettering. Illustrated Faith is something I recently discovered. I love it! It is so beautiful. Some of the artwork and Bible verses people combine are amazing. I follow several accounts on Instagram. I can’t draw all that well, but I like to letter and I’ve enjoyed adding a few doodles and colors to words and quotes I write out.
June ~ Take time to smell the roses.
This journal was as much fun to photograph as it was to have it arrive on my doorstep!
{Notice the stretchy orange elastic to keep it closed if you want. I love both that detail and the ribbon bookmark detail.}
I haven’t started using it yet, but I’m thinking that starting it tomorrow would be pretty fun because July is my birthday month and because I’m thinking about it more with this giveaway posted and up and running!

I had a gratitude journal a couple of years ago but when Rebecca died I stopped writing in it. I’ve been thinking lately that I really need to get back to writing down my blessings. When you actually stop to write them – even the littlest things- you can see that God really is there and that he really cares for you.
I just started a prayer journal in January, and really didn’t think I would stick with it. I have tried to keep journals and it’s never been my thing. Then one of the Sweet Sisters from the Better Together Conference had a format that clicked with me! I’m going into my 7th month π I’m excited about this Gratitude Journal. It looks so encouraging.
Always grateful but not always great about writing it down. This is lovely and perhaps I just need to upgrade my journal choices to be more disciplined in it :O)
I’ve been wanting to start one of these! Love the layout and design. Just finished a book called One Thousand Gifts and the basis is a gratitude journal. Difficult read at time but LOVED the message. Highly recommended it.
We all tend to think negatively at times, some more so than others, and this would be a way to try to break the habit of the negative and shift more towards the positive!
My husband and I have a journal that we started way back when we got married. We don’t always write in it because life always seems so busy. I guess I need to take Junes advice in the Gratitude Journal and “stop and smell the roses!”
My daughter and I have a Mommy & Me journal that we write back and forth to each other everyday. It’s a wonderful thing!
I have been looking into a prayer journal and have briefly looked at a gratitude journal. Whether I am fortunate enough to win this one or not, I will continue to look into it. Everyday is a blessing, why not record those blessings?
Thank you for the giveaway!
I do not currently use a prayer journal, but I have been thinking about it a lot lately. Thanks for the inspiration!
I’m in a crazy season. At times I feel like I’m sinking. Makes me think I should start one.
I don’t use one but I’d like to start.
I don’t use a gratitude journal but I’d love to start one π Thanks for entering me in the drawing
I try to, but I am not very consistent. π This one is so pretty!
I’ve never used a gratitude journal but I am interested in trying! I like to write and journaling is very therapeutic for me!
I haven’t used a gratitude journal, but I’ve been trying to be more aware and thankful of my blessings. This would go a long way toward helping with that!
Would love to win that pretty journal. Sometimes in the busyness of being a wife and mom to 6 kids I can tend to forget to be thankful even for the little or big things. This would be great to have. π
Yes! I have a notebook, that is close to filled, where I write little blessings each day. π
I started to use Evernote as a gratitude journal and it’s very easy. But sometimes it is outa sight outa mind! An actual journal may help!
Thanks for the chance to win the Journal! π I have a tiny, tiny gratitude journal (literally, it’s about 4in x 4in-but I still love it) so a normal-sized one would be *so* nice! π
I love the layout and bright colors of this journal. I need to start listing blessings everyday. Found your giveaway from MSM email. Enjoyed browsing around.
I have used a gratitude journal in the past, but got out of the habit. I keep meaning to start again and this journal would be a great way to do that.
I’ve recently started using a gratitude app on my phone.
I do not use a gratitude journal yet, but I’d really like to begin using one.
Thanks for this giveaway…!!!
I mentally note Thankful moments quite often, and occasionally will put on paper , though this is a beautiful way to do so consistently.
Blessings,
Cheryl
I would love to have one of these journals! I journaled for many years but haven’t done it much recently. It might motivate me to start up again:)
This would make a lovely gift for my college age daughter. Thank you for sharing!
I used to write down gratitude notes in a journal a while back. I have been meaning to get back to it. I do try to take note of them in my mind everyday however.
We actually keep a “blessings” Jar at our home. When the Lord blesses in anyway we write down the date and what the blessing was and keep it in a jar over the fireplace. At the end of the year we open it up and read all of what God has done!
Hello! π I have a journal that is like a multipurpose journal, lol. I use it to take notes at church, during my bible study, and to just write down what’s on my heart. BUT, I am always thinking about the things I am grateful for, and just the other day I thought to myself, why don’t I write them down? I need to do this. I have a very stressful environment with so much to do that when I stop to do my devotions or pray, it would be perfect to write in a really pretty journal about what I am grateful for. I would love to win this lovely journal. Even if I don’t, I am definitely going to purchase it eventually. Awesome job Crystal. π You truly are an inspiration. <3
I have a gratitude journal, but it is only in a pretty, blank journal. I would love to transfer my gratitude habit to a bright, fun, dedicated gratitude journal! I started it when I began reading One Thousand Gifts and doing the video study with my church small group.
Being a naturally “glass half empty” personality, this has been life-changing for me. It amazes me how much this biblical practice will change my outlook on life!
Thanks for reminding me to continue to record thankful thoughts (as I haven’t pulled it out in awhile)!
Choosing gratitude helps me when things look overwhelming. Very cute journal!
I keep one on my phone right now. But really want to go back to paper and pen. So much easier to flip through and review how beautiful life has been to me.
What a great idea! I love the colorful layout. I started a gratitude journal in January and it is a great daily reminder of our blessings
i don’t use a gratitude journal, but boy should i. there is just something about putting your thoughts down on paper. thanks for the chance.
I think a gratitude journal is a wonderful idea!!! We tend to forget our daily blessings and this is the perfect way to remember them!!!
Thank you for showing these great pictures of the journal! This is something I need to do! We recently made a national move and it is tough… Whether I win or not this is something I am going to begin! Thank you, Blessings! Denise
What a lovely review. I love the peek into the journal – and I am with you – I LOVE color!!! Thanks for offering this review – and a chance to win a free journal!
I don’t have a dedicated gratitude journal, but I do try to make entries (but too rarely!) in my regular journal. I have to admit that this one is so cute and colorful — happy and cheerful! — that I can see it just begs to be written in! π
I just starting doing this in January and it has made such a huge difference in my attitude and outlook on life!
I do not use a Gratitude Journal, but have been thinking this would be a good thing for me and my girls to do.
I love this idea of a gratitude journal and this one is just beautiful!
Hi, I use my blog as a gratitude journal because I blog on the weekends with the 10 things thankful community. π
