Where have the years gone? Isn’t this every mother’s song?
My girl turns twelve today. Impossible. But here.
Twelve short years.
Many changes.
I had to laugh as I scanned these baby pictures into my computer and as I edited them and noticed the quality is so much different then, than now, twelve short years later. I had to think of the multitude of pictures that I would have, compared to what I do have, of her, as a baby, if she would have been born in 2012 instead of 2000. I remember my Dad taking film to a one hour photo so we could have pictures right away to send to my sister in Ohio. Now, I get pictures on my phone, of babies before they are an hour old.
Happy Birthday, dear girl! We are so glad you are you~as Dr. Seuss would say “There is no one alive who is youer than you.”
Happy Happy Birthday sweet niece!!! Oh how I remember waiting anxiously for those pictures! And shopping for your shower gift with Grandpa and Uncle J! Grandma was out there and Travis was traveling for work so they took me to the mall:)
I love the new pictures of you – you look SO grown up! Where did the time go? And I see Middle Sister in you so much!! You two could be sisters:)
happy birthday renae!!! One more year and you’ll be a TEENAGER:) That was a big thing at this house a year ago…..now she is almost 14!!:):)
I know! I can’t believe it! She hasn’t really been too excited about getting older or being a teenager, so we’ll see what another year brings!
Happy birthday! And happy anniversary of being her mom 🙂 My oldest turns 12 in a couple of weeks. Love those millenium babies.
I know..it’s so cool to easily remember their age by the year they were born! And I’ll take all the help I can get as my age increases! 🙂
Oh, I love that girl! So many memories come flooding in. Baby days are so precious and so short. I remember driving along wondering if the phone would ever ring. It finally did only to let us know baby was fine but not here yet. Mom was going to surgery! Then the news—-SHE is here! More driving like all night in a snow storm. Finally getting there in wee hours of morning. Resting, then FINALLY getting to see her and hold her. It’s been a great 12 years! And a FAST 12 years! She was such a beautiful baby and is such a beautiful girl! Birthday hugs from me to her. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Happy Birthday to your sweet girl. She is darling.
Your daughter is so pretty! Happy Birthday to her!
