It started out all misty and moisty and gray on the fourth-of-July morning and looked nothing at all like a Kansas day in July.
As the morning waned away, the gray wisped away and the skies were not cloudy all day.
The humidity hangs around, heavy, but the brilliant blue can’t be beat and the leaves of this tree stand out in glorious detail against it.
Artistry at its finest.
Found everywhere we look.
In a ladybug, a blade of grass, the painted pattern on the long neck of the giraffe. In the iridescent light bouncing off of bubbles as the waft and skip from a bubble wand.
In the puckered lips and chubby cheeks of the bubble blower.
The rosebuds only beginning to curl and open on the rosebush by the door.
In the ribbon pattern running through the rocks carried treasured and deep inside the pockets of a wide-eyed, eager-faced little fellow.
The plumey tail of a puppy come-to-visit.
The lists are magnificent and they are endless. This spinning planet is brimming full. Right up full of beauty.
Don’t miss it.
Don’t get so stuck in that hard thing, the impossible situation, the fearsome and the tragic and forget to look for it.
Our Father never desired any of that ugly to enter. He created and designed and spoke and this earth was beautiful and wonderful and delightful. And God saw that it was good. Three verses into Genesis. He saw that it was good!
Indeed it is!
What beauty has blessed your day today?
Linking up ~

I just got home from a long weekend getaway and I’m loving the music the baby birds are making as they serenade me 🙂 The sun is shining and soon I’ll be eating a super healthy BIG salad. That is what I lacked while being away.
I love getaways, but I always love returning home!
Your serenade sounds lovely!
