Maybe a month or two or three ago, I thought, “It would be fun to have Scrabble tiles.”
Thinking fun decor!
The stuff you could do with them, such as spell stuff or use initials or just scatter the letters. Possibilities galore!
I texted my sis and said, “If you find old Scrabble tiles, I’d take some.”
Then, I rather forgot about it.
So, I thought about it. Forgot about it.
My two kiddos and I made a last-minute decision to load up and try our hand and luck at garage sale shopping.
Off we went.
Mid-way to garage sales, we stopped for a donut.
Back on the road.
Arrive at the town hosting city-wide garage sales and commence to stopping, hopping out, and browsing.
We’d been to several and had started throwing stuff in the back of our trusty Suburban.
We followed a couple of signs down a road until we spied two sales right across from each other, both with quite a bit of “stuff” for sale.
We walked up to the first one and Renae found some balloons and Tucker found some too, plus a puzzle. I found a few things and was wandering by a table and ALMOST missed it.
Suddenly, I noticed a Scrabble game!!!
Looking very nearly new. And my thought that I’d thought and forgot, came springing back to mind.
“Hey, you wanted Scrabble tiles! Here they are! Hooray!”
I snatched the game up with happy jubilation!
This garage sale shopping girl is
What a tale!
