Working on this dishcloth. It is my sixth solid color. But it will be fifth in my stack, because I gave the pink one to my sister-in-law. I finished my golden-yellow from last week.
I had fun adding a few photo props and snapping a couple of pics! The two shells in the photos are fun. I found one of them and Matthew found the other one, on the beach, when we were in Hatteras. They are both almost perfect and it was exciting to spy them just waiting on the sand.
I checked out this book from the library and have just browsed through it. I’m not in-depth reading it, as much as just enjoying the pictures, ideas and inspiration.
I’m still reading The Best Yes and I did finish Rainbow Valley.
Oh, so much fun! So many memories!
Bruce’s Loose Tooth.
We had this book when I was a kid and I love, love, loved it.
A couple of years ago, I thought about it and searched on ebay and found and purchased one. The string runs all the way through the book, as the goose tries all sorts of ways to help the poor moose get rid of the tooth that is loose!
The one I bought no longer had the string in it, so Tucker fixed it up for me and ran a string through it.
This book still makes me smile!

what a fun book!
i’ve been making washcloths too. such a nice easy knit. 🙂
They are an easy knit….and the extent of my knitting. But I like them because I can pick up my knitting and work on it without using much mental effort.
I love handknitted washcloths they make such wonderful gifts. Love the props.
They do make great gifts! Fun to give by themselves or to tuck into a package with other items.
Lovely washcloth! I noticed today that mine are looking more than a little sad. Scheduling a stash dive in the near future – I know I have some Sugar and Cream in there. Favorite book? Anything with Frances the Badger.
Frances the Badger is really cute!
That book looks really fun! I love those shells, what a great find!
It was really exciting to find the shells!
