Last week I was finishing my Seaside Blue dishcloth. When I finished it I set out this linen color.
I snapped some pictures of my collection of solid colors. The golden yellow and coral-y pink found a new home, so they aren’t in the stack anymore.
I love how all the colors look together.
This book! It’s a book to love.
Charming painting-look pictures and equally charming and sweet story.
I mean….look at this picture in the book. So lovely.
I just finished the linen dishcloth.
This stack of books! The second Penderwicks waiting for us to read aloud.
I’ve been re-reading the “Anne” books. I’m a few chapters into Anne’s House of Dreams.
This is the yarn that came out to take the place of the ball of linen.
That’s my books and yarn world this week!
What’s on your reading list or coffee table or bedside table or in your stack of books? And do you have a project happening?

Aw! I love Anne! I reread them all two summers ago.
I like the colors of your dishcloths very much!
This is my first Yarn Along! It’s SO fun!
Thanks! I’ve enjoyed the colors, too!
Yarn Along is very fun! 🙂
I love love love the Anne of Green Gables series. I re-read them all again last summer. I had forgotten all about the last one (Rilla of Ingleside). Your picture reminds me I need to get working on a stack of dishcloths. Thanks for sharing.
It’s been awhile since I read “Anne”. L.M. Montgomery’s books make you want to step into the story. I also love “Jane of Lantern Hill” and “The Blue Castle”.
Your colorful dishcloths are so pretty. And your books look so inviting. Lovely pictures, Deborah.
Thank-you!
I have a question for you! Do you ever sell your dishclothes? Or know of someone who does? I used to have some from your grandma and I love them! I crochet but I don’t know how to knit! Crochet dishcloths are to chunky!
I haven’t ever sold them. I think we did take just a few with us to a craft show at one of my Lilla Rose events. I’ve always just made them for fun and never been all that fast or had a huge stash. 🙂
I love them too, and they make me think of my Grandma.
