Winans Chocolates + Coffees Valentine Giveaway Package

My daughter peeked out the living room window.

“There’s a box on the porch that says Winans,” she called to me.

I don’t remember my exact response, but in involved a few hoorays, delight and a smile!

She slipped out through the garage and toted it inside for me, setting it on my kitchen island. 

I couldn’t wait to take a peek inside.

I actually did wait though. 

Can you believe it?! 😉

It was almost lunch time and I needed to add some finishing touches to it. {that makes it sound like we were having this totally gourmet lunch. Quite right, I’m sure, quite right.}

It also occurred to me that I wanted to take pictures of the box when I dug into it to include in this blog post and giveaway.

Lunch was duly partaken of and dishes done. {Cleared away anyway.}{Once again, I don’t remember how it played out on this exact day.}

I do remember that there were some other things needing attention and various schedules of my people and it was later on in the afternoon when I found myself grabbing my scissors and camera to LOOK inside!

Here’s what I opened up to. 

Super fun white-n-crisp paper crinkles layered the top.

I dug a little and found the cheery silk blooms. 

What a fun idea to add beauty to a Valentine package!

Then this packet of Cupid’s Kiss Coffee appeared. It’s a cute little pouch!

Tucked in as well was this adorable Valentine card! They’re sipping Winans coffee of course! {I bet it’s Cupid’s Kiss.}

Here it all is! It was all nested neatly and snugly into the pretty paper shreds. It really was super-fun to dig through it all. 

But then, I adore happy mail and fun packages arriving on my doorstep!

Winans not only sent this Valentine package my direction, they’re ALSO going to send a Valentine package to ONE OF YOU! 

I have several more pictures because it just-so-happens that I love to take pretty pictures of this sort.

Here’s a close-up of this dear, little conversation heart box…………..

And inside……….six yummy assorted chocolates! My box had a raspberry cream….my favorite!!! I visited Winans when we were in Ohio at Thanksgiving and completely and thoroughly enjoyed my caramel breve and raspberry cream chocolate.

I also had an orange cream that was so delicious! Renae had a vanilla cream and a chocolate filled one that delighted her. 

I decked my coffee table out, because I ask you, what better place to take pictures of chocolates and coffee than on a COFFEE TABLE??

Rice Krispies Squares………they didn’t last long around here!

The Mint Jewels are still proudly gracing my coffee table and looking so Valentine-y with my pink and red ribbon roses runner.

They do seem to be diminishing. Hmmm. So strange.

This is the dark chocolate healthy heart.

  4. I have never heard of Winans Chocolates! Being a west coast native, we have See’s Candies from San Francisco. I must try Winans, they appear to be of the same quality. But the variety is totally different. Now living in the Seattle area, coffee is a must!!!! And a quality coffee is the only acceptable choice!
    Thank you for the beautiful pictures. It has me directed in the focus of Valentines Day. (As I am still packing up Christmas!!!)
    Love your posts!! They put me in a lifestyle of simple quality. A real heartbeat of what America is made from.

  17. i like pretty much all chocolate. i do like chocolates with soft caramel the best, i think, though. it’s hard to choose.

  29. i recently tried Lindt chocolate from Paris with Nutella or Hazelnut in it, and it was downright delicious! I’m especially fond of dark chocolate! Your photos are so gorgeous, and everything looks yummy! The Healthy Heart would be fun to give to my husband!

  34. I’m a huge fan of See’s Candies, especially their Bordeaux truffle, and Lindt dark truffles are a close second!

  35. My favorite chocolate treat is a Hersheys bar. I love milk chocolate. Once a year at Christmas I buy a small box of 4 of Lindt chocolates and just enjoy that wonderful chocolate melting in my mouth. Thank you for the chance and yummy giveaway 😀
