Today was an in and out day again! I went after parts for one of the irrigation systems and then went with the irrigation-checker man to {watch him} install the new alternator. Back home to look for a key for one of the trucks and pack up a lunch and a jug and away we go! Returned, took a smallish rest, canned green beans and got ready to run around again. Off to the field with sandwiches and then into town to clean at the doctor’s office and run into the grocery for a couple of items. Hoping to find some milk that was managered-specialed, since milk wasn’t on sale this week. Struck out, but new sale starts tomorrow, so maybe milk will be on sale. We weren’t quite out, so I opted to wait and see. Back by the field with an icy Pepsi as a treat for my man and I hopped into the dummy seat so I could ride and chat with him a little. Riding along is my chance to see my husband during harvest. 🙂 Back home. Groceries put away. Hot, lovely shower. Do a couple things online and throw together a harvest blog post! Good-night!
