Back in Indian summer and the beginning of autumn, our family of four and my husband’s brother’s family of three, visited the Wildlife Park located near the city.
I edited some of the pictures and kept thinking I would get them posted. Other things got posted, harvest was happening, drilling was happening, life was happening.
The photos waited.
In the meantime, brother’s family of three became a family of four with the arrival of their new baby!
And here I am. FINALLY. Posting the pictures I wanted too.
One thing about posting later than I really anticipated, it’s so much fun to look back and remember. Almost more fun than if I was on-the-ball, totally-up-to-date, always-getting-things-posted-right-on-my-schedule.
The day was one of those just-beautiful-glad-to-be-alive kind of days. Sunny, warm, not too warm, gorgeous fall weather.
We enjoyed it immensely.
Kangaroos to check out and a baby in the pocket …
Familiar faces were found at the zoo. No, not the kangaroo. Some of our friends and their family were visiting too!
Feeding lettuce leaves to the tortoises…they can move surprisingly quickly!
Camel rides! Mr. Camel acted like he was used to posing for the camera.
One of the best parts~feeding lemurs!
Mama giraffe was hungry too.
Woo-hoo! Shoulders to ride on.
And slides to slide on.
And a baby clouded leopard! Baby animals are so adorable.
What a fun day!
