I had a friend who turned forty this fall. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to throw a party!
I really love setting things up for a party. It does take time and effort, so it doesn’t always happen. 🙂
Lovely fall flower arrangement! It was part of my friend’s gift and served as our centerpiece too!

Fresh flowers just seem to go with a ladies’ luncheon!
YES ~ forty candles!
The Food ~
What’s a party without food?!
Menu:
Lasagna
Olive Garden Salad { a friend brought this for the party}
Berry Fruit Salad
Best White Birthday Cake
Double Chocolate and Sour Cream Yellow Cake with Mocha Frosting
Chocolate Ganache Ice cream
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
The salad was so yummy! I could’ve eaten mostly salad. My friend is a good cook. She used this delicious flaked parmesan cheese in it. And there’s just something about food that I don’t have to fix…. {Plus, fixing a salad is not my top pick of foods to make.}
It was a fun day and good memories. I still have not figured out how time flies by so rapidly and how my sister and two of my friends turned forty this year! I still have four years….And we all know how fast that will go by!

Everything looks so beautiful! You definitely have a knack for throwing parties!
