An outfit breakdown and a few of my favorite shops to check out for sales and new styles. I’ve found that certain stores are where I often find favorite clothes that fit my shape and style.
{Oh, and we had a good wind blowing as we were trying to snap a few pictures!!}
Sweater ~ Dress Barn
I like to check out the racks at Dress Barn every so often.
White tee ~ Christopher & Banks
My favorite place right now for tanks and tees for layering.
Skirt ~ Cato
Several of my favorite skirts are from Cato.
Scarf ~ from a small local shop.
I liked the color and the ruffles. π
Flexi ~ Hibiscus SeaΒ from Lilla Rose! {Naturally}
Sandals ~ a boutique shop my sister and I ran into when she was here this summer. They were on sale and I was happy to find them. They add a dressy touch. The pics don’t show, but the back strap is brown and I like the contrast. I should’ve taken a close up picture of just my shoes.
Do you have a favorite store where you find favorite clothes?
It was hot here the beginning of the week, but we’ve moved towards chillier temps by the end. We had more super-lovely-October weather throughout the week. Love it!
In other news, little things really do make a difference.
{Example…finding sandals you really like.} π
No, sometimes the smallest changes make a big impact.
A few weeks ago, I was doing some deeper cleaning in our bathroom. {It needed it badly!!}
I eyed the trashcan and tried to think.
We’d had this trashcan in our bathroom ever since we settled into this house and made it home.
And honestly, it has bugged me all this time. It’s too small. It seemed like it constantly needed emptied. It seemed like trash would not make it in and have to get picked up again. This sort of messing around annoys me. Haha!
THE QUESTION!! What could I do to improve this situation?
Aha! My critical eye landed on the “basket” for dirty towels and wash cloths. It was metal with screen-type sides. It originally was meant to be a trash can. At least I found it with the trash cans at Wal-Mart. It was larger than the small trashcan that was such a thorn in my side.
Hmmm. What else could hold our towel laundry?
I thought about another metal basket I had. Maybe??
I tried it. YES!!!!
Perfect solution. The trashcan-turned-towel-basket could start operating as a trashcan.
This other basket could hold our dirty wash cloths and towels.
Problem solved.
I switched it all around and haven’t looked back.
It has made my life simpler, silly as it may sound.
I haven’t been emptying my bathroom trash can nearly as often.
I’m so grateful for little things that REALLY do make life easier.
