Deuteronomy 32:4 ~
“God’s way and work is perfect; He is faithful to me.”
His faithfulness blooms forth in abundance in so many ways.
Seek it.
Notice it.
Give thanks for it.
His faithfulness is real even when we’re reeling from the hurricanes in life.
It’s there when we say sad good-byes.
It shows up as we rejoice in the redemption and salvation of a sinner confessing a Saviour.
It’s there in the steaming bowl of mashed potatoes we place upon the table.
It flows from the hands handing a dish of rice to the hungry and it pours forth from the well of fresh water drilled in a dry and needy land.
I see it in the baby wheat shining green along the row and in rosy apples, red and ripe.
His faithfulness is in the tired smile of the mama lifting her crying infant from the crib and cuddling him close.
His provision is there and here and near.
Even when the fog closes in dense and we cry out in alarm.
His arm is mighty to save and He who has promised is faithful.
Amen! And beautiful tablescape!
Thank-you, Beth! I love fall decorating. It lasts for a few months and there are so many outside elements you can bring indoors or use on the porch.
This is beautiful, Deborah. Both this post and your unique blog’s message. I have been trying to delight more in those daily details. We miss so much if we don’t open our eyes to it, don’t we? I’m glad I was your neighbor at Holley’s. π I’m going to sign up for your “delightful glow.” π
Thank-you for your kind words and for coming by!
Life isn’t all roses and no thorns, but it definitely helps me to notice the roses and the beauty in the everyday. π
I love His abundance and faithfulness! Thanks, Deborah!
I do too. Can’t even grasp how great it is!
