Today I bring you three favorite cake recipes!

I get hungry for this cake when autumn rolls around. I do make it at other times of the year too. If I have apples that need used I will chop up enough for this recipe and stick them in the freezer, ready to pull out and add to the batter when I decide to bake an apple cake! It makes the prep time seem a lot faster, though in reality it doesn’t take that long to chop up the apples if I don’t have any in the freezer.
The Glazed Lemon Cake in this cook book! There’s a picture in the bottom left hand corner on the cookbook cover of a piece of the lemon cake. My friend gifted me with a Savoring the Seasons with Our Best Bites a few years ago. Once I tried out the lemon cake recipe, it became a favorite. The cookbook, itself, is just fun! It’s bright and pretty, full of color, and beautiful food pictures.
