It’s Three on Thursday……..Linking up over here with Carole………
I shared these three journals in my Instagram stories on Tuesday and I’m going to share them here!
If you’d like a new journal to use for your summer Bible study, here’s three you can check out!
Summer is a swirl of busy….of different schedules…of long days…..of lazy, hazy days {theoretically, anyway}….sipping iced tea and lemonade……swimming….
And I sometimes like a new study or journal for my Bible time. I like something simple for summertime. I will often choose a Bible study that isn’t as in-depth or is shorter in length. Summer is generally busy for us with wheat harvest and fieldwork. It does offer me extra hours sometimes if my farmer man is in the field for long days, but generally I don’t have as much time for a longer Bible study.
Here’s the pictures and they tell the story too! 🙂
This journal is from the GraceLaced shop here. Find it here! It’s available in lime, linen or coral. I love all three colors, but I chose the coral. I love the bright happiness and summertime look.
It is a simple, basic journal with lined pages and a ribbon bookmarker.
Use it for a prayer journal, Scripture journal, gratitude journal, favorite quotes, best moments from your day………the possibilities abound! 🙂
The backs of the pages are blank. You could go ahead and write in this space, handletter, add stickers or Bible journaling art……..once again whatever speaks into your life!
I’m using my journal as a Scripture journal with a focus on verses I want to Aspire & Aim for in my life. {If you haven’t seen me say it already, Aspire & Aim became my focus words for 2018.}
This is the Give Me Jesus journal from Well Watered Women. Find it here!
They also have a really neat 3×5 Scripture memory journal spiral right here.
A little peek inside the cover! A place for your name and a place to fill in a Scripture to pray over your journal.
Pages with inspiration and ideas for using the journal.
The pages contain a Scripture verse and then space for you to write down verses you are meditating, reading or memorizing.
There’s space to journal your thoughts and what you’re learning and a space to write out your prayers.
I really like the format of it and I like spiral bound journals and the way you can fold the front cover around and open them flat.
This journal is Write the Word and it comes from the Cultivate What Matters shop right over here!
Look at the stripes and colors!!!! They make me happy!
Another fun detail in this journal is the gold printing. It’s so pretty!
This pink journal focuses on Gratitude. It has a pink ribbon bookmarker and the page format is as follows.
It has a place lettered “Today Is” with a blank. You can fill this in any way you like. With the date. With a memory. With a hope for the day.
Then there’s “I’m Grateful For” and a blank to list a few things you’re delighting in.
Then each page gives a Scripture reference and space to Write the Word. Flip the page and on the back you’ll find “On My Heart Today” and another space to journal, pray, ponder. The page finishes at the very bottom with a space marked “My Word For Today”.
The Write the Word Journals are available in seven colors with each journal focusing on a certain subject.
I’ll list them below.
I’m a little colorblind sometimes, but I think the first journal is lavender. {Oh, I found the description….yes, lavender.}
SO……….
Lavender ~ Cultivate Faith
Berry Pink ~ Cultivate Gratitude
Springwater Blue ~ Cultivate Hope
Marigold ~ Cultivate Joy
Spring Green ~ Cultivate Renewal
Blue ~ Cultivate Prayer
Cantelope ~ Cultivate Forgiveness
They’re all very pretty and each subject is a good one to cultivate in my life better, for sure!!! It certainly takes a lifetime of seeking, learning and growing in His Truth.
One last look at all three! They’re all great books and study tools, should you be on the look out for something new for this summer!
Let me know if you try one! I’d love to hear!

I am sure enjoying my little books you sent to me. Matter of fact I am still enjoying everything! (Smile) Hugs and blessings, Cindy
