Hello June! Here’s looking at you, our busiest time of year!!!

Harvest is approaching. I can feel it.

My house is getting its summertime feel. The wheat waves in the wind and quietly, and almost unnoticeably, turns to gold.

Hello to more outside stuff. Mowing and watering and watching the garden grow and trying to stay ahead of the weeds and enjoying beautiful blooms on roses and in flowerpots. I just picked up a few annuals and some blooming baskets at my local greenhouse. I hadn’t wanted to commit to daily watering yet. But, I love looking out my kitchen window and spying the hanging basket below.

Fruit cups to make along with other food for harvest. I’ve been ordering pantry staples from Walmart.com recently and it is totally awesome and handy. Thank-you UPS man for dropping the items at my door. No loading the cart in the store and unloading to check out and reloading to drag it all to the car and UNLOAD it all again INTO the car and motor home and UNLOAD yet again and drag it in the house.

{Yes. Blessing to have MANY stores to shop at. It is. I am grateful for that. But I’m totally loving skipping some of the loading and unloading and the time it takes.} 🙂

THIS is making my summer happier already! I’m very, very, very, very, very happy and excited about this book that’s releasing in September! So Close to Amazing by KariAnne Wood from Thistlewood Farm! It’s going to be amazing!

I’m thrilled to get to read an early copy of it.

KariAnne is super sweet, super funny, super at DIY projects and takes super-beautiful photos of her super-lovely home. Definitely super-amazing!
