I’m finding beauty in…..
- hibiscus blooms
- the clematis wreathing the archway in a cascade of blooms
- bouquets of cosmos scattered throughout the house, grown, clipped, and arranged by my dearie girl
- my bed, freshly made and throw pillows proclaiming Our Happy Place
- guitar chords as my son plays
- gazing across at the farm as the farmer gets the combine out in prep for soybean harvest

Three good and beautiful things in my life right now are 1) I recently traveled to visit my parents; 2) My concert band has started rehearsing again; and 3) We adopted two guinea pigs.

Three good and beautiful things: a cool rainy day after months of heat and drought, a lovely garden flower bouquet from a friend who heard we had hail damage, and a shiny clean smile after a visit to the dentist for a cleaning this morning.
