I’ve had several people ask if we had a good trip and I’ve replied, “We did! It was just so much fun!”

I typed out details I wanted to remember about our week.

SO ~

Good bye Hatteras! Thank-you! We loved it. From the ocean to the sunshine to the sand to the ghost crabs and the dolphins. Sunburns, {maybe not the sunburns} fisherman, fishing, sunrises, good food, seagulls, pelicans, perfect island kitty, darling bookstore, General Store, sodas, ice cream, the ferry, Ocracoke, cottage with a red front door, time with my people, mockingbird, flip-flops, sunscreen, salt air, blue chairs, books, flying kite, porch swing, lighthouses… We are abundantly grateful. Maybe we’ll see you again in another 18 years….
