I won a Blendtech blender and I’m still over-the-moon delighted about it!!! It’s so fun to use and it gives me fun messages when it’s finished blending like, “Ta-da!” and “You should tweet this blend!” Ten years ago, I wouldn’t have even known what in the world it meant to “tweet my blend”. Ha!
The giveaway was on Instagram hosted by Christiann Koepke. Find here her on IG. She is a recipe curator and has gorgeous food photos!

My daughter was in a production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. She was thrilled and enjoyed it immensely. I was delighted to go watch the play at all three performances and carry flowers to her afterward.

Preparing for Renae’s graduation celebration. We spent a good bit of time preparing and planning and it was work, time and effort, but it really was all worth it. We had beautiful weather and a wonderful evening and I was absolutely delighted when Renae proclaimed it was even more fun that she was anticipating.

Joining in the mug and teacup exchange. This is so my type of thing and I still smile when I use something that the dear, lovely ladies sent my way.

Arranging flowers! I picked up flowers at Dillons and then arranged them myself for several occasions. It was fun. I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I could enjoy learning more tips and tricks about creating arrangements. I recently started a list of 100 Dreams. Everything from small things to magnifique! Attending a flower arranging class is on my list!
I’ve thought for years, it would be fun to deliver flowers to a few people on MayDay, but it never materialized into anything more than a thought. This May Day, I did it! It was fun!

Some shopping days……..I spent one day with my sister-in-law and nieces and we bought cake pops at Starbucks and savored the little things that add delight to life. My daughter and I spent a day doing some shopping and we found a little shop selling macaroons and we curled up and tried them and they were delicious.

I joined Hopewriters, an online community for writers, this spring and it has been exciting and inspiring for me!

We did not plant any garden this year and I’m really quite glad about it! I know we will miss the sweet corn, but otherwise I have not minded one bit having one less ball to juggle and one less place to water and one less mess of weeds weighing in the back of my mind!
What delighted you this spring and what’s on your list of dreams for this summer?
It’s been summer weather here for quite a bit now, though the calendar officially says spring for a couple more days! 🙂
What a great list! So far my hummingbird feeders are delighting me!
I love watching hummingbirds flit around! So fun! Glad you have them to bless your days!
1. Meeting, holding, rocking & loving our new grandbaby!
2. Attending 6th birthday party for our granddaughter!
3. Helping celebrate 3 graduations!
4. Watching the Family Theatre put on Pollyanna & the GLAD GAME!
5. Two roadtrips with hubby!
6. Seeing the RAIN return after {almost }6 months!
7. Planting pole beans for the first time ever.
8. Enjoying asparagus & rhubarb, tending
the garden.
9. The joy of wheat harvest, even in the
BUSYness, it is an ABUNDANT blessing of
God!!
What a fun list!
I love writing lists of things and reading other people’s lists as well.
Something so soul-satisfying about cuddling those tiny newborns!
I love Pollyanna and love listening to the gentle rain ESPECIALLY when the ground is so thirsty dry.
I would love to hear about your pole beans and would take any tips about harvesting rhubarb. I have one rhubarb plant and I think I really need at least three. My mother-in-law gets rhubarb from a neighbor usually once or twice a spring and always kindly shares with us. I’ve used some from my plant, but I feel very uneducated when it comes to caring for rhubarb.
I think asparagus is beautiful, but we don’t really eat it.
YES!!!! There’s nothing like wheat harvest even when it exhausts me, 😉 and Busyness is a blessing in many ways. Plus, the ability and means to work.
What a “delightful” post! Enjoyed reading each one.
Thank-you so much! 🙂
