Ten Things That Shout of Harvest

1. the rustling, rustling of the swaying golden wheat

2. the combine lumbering across the field, turning into the next swath, header lowered and ready to gobble up the grain

3. tractor and grain cart circling back and forth between combines and trucks

4. hot, hot temps beating down and reflecting off the stubble left behind

5. racing against rain and weather and celebrating every acre cut
