If you’re interested in teaparties and dolls and fun snacks and love you some Hello Kitty, I have a party idea for you! 🙂
Here’s a list of ten ingredients, give or take, you’ll want when throwing your teaparty! Many of the ingredients are quite adaptable to your preferences, tastes, and people!
NO. 1 ~ You’ll need a few little girls who love Hello Kitty and have favorite baby dolls as well as a few grown-up girls who still love Hello Kitty and a good teaparty! I had four little nieces, their mamas, and my daughter and her favorite baby doll, Amanda!
Any variation and number of nieces and daughters and sisters and mothers etc. etc. will work quite nicely!!!
No. 2 ~ Dolls!!! You definitely need dolls to bring to a Doll teaparty!!!
Have each guest bring a favorite doll or two!
NO. 3 ~ You may want to round up a pen and stamps and invitations and stickers to send the little girls and their dolls a personal invite in the mail! Happy mail is always a fun surprise and it seems like children delight in receiving mail. 🙂 After I checked with their mamas to see if the date would work, I sent off invitations addressed to my nieces and to their dolls. I wrote one out for my daughter for fun too! 🤣
Example: Hers was addressed to Renae Flora and Amanda.
My nieces’ mamas did not tell them about the teaparty until their invitations arrived! I’d texted my sister-in-laws of my intent to mail out invitations.
After they tore them open, there were four very excited little girls in the neighborhood! The exuberance and excitement of little people is so fun!
NO. 4 ~ Hello Kitty paper plates and napkins and whatever other fun Hello Kitty accessories catch your eye! I had Hello Kitty plates in two sizes and Hello Kitty napkins. I used Hello Kitty pencils as party favors to send home with the girlies!
We used the smaller plates as place settings for the dolls and the larger plates for the girls. 🙂
NO. 5 ~ A variety of snacks! Go big with variety or choose a couple of treats!!! Either way works!
It’s great fun to do a variety of miniature size and regular size snacks. This gives you doll size and girl size!
Here’s a few ideas from our teaparty:
- Oreos and Oreo minis ~ we did chocolate and golden
- Ritz crackers and Ritz Bits
- M&M’s and M&M minis
- Club crackers and Club Minis
- Pretzel Rods and Pretzel Sticks
- Goldfish and Baby Goldfish
- Fudge Stripes and Fudge Stripes Minis
- Nilla wafers and Mini Nilla Wafers
Fill the plates, giving the girls the regular size snacks and the dolls the mini snacks!
We served cheese cut into shapes with small cutters. We have alphabet cutters, and cut out the first initial for each doll’s name!
No. 6 ~ A centerpiece! Simple or extravagant. Either one will do nicely! I have a couple of nieces who love cake pops, so I went with a small cake surrounded by cake pops for our centerpiece.
No. 7 ~ Booster chairs, stools, or high chairs to arrange the dolls on if you’re serving you party at a regular sized table. If you have the party outside on a blanket, or on a low table the dolls can sit or stand up to the table!
No. 8 ~ Tiny teacups or mugs are super fun! Keep an eye out at thrift shops or garage sales for inexpensive teacups if you don’t own any. Espresso cups or mugs are another great option and a perfect size!
No. 9 ~ Yummy tea to brew and a pobby teapot to serve it in! {I love the looseleaf tea from Winterwoods Tea Co. I have more about them in this post.}
No. 10 ~ Bottled juices make a fun addition to the snacks and food! We served grape and apple.
Use all ten ingredients or use only a few! Add some ideas and your own creative twist for a Hello Kitty Doll Teaparty-in’ Good Time!!! 🙂
And be sure to tell me about it! I’d love to hear!
