Some of the most beautiful things in life are the things we can’t hold in our hands.
Things like beauty and laughter and amazement and memories and golden days and the gift of time and kisses and adventures and successes and awe and accomplished tasks and salvation and wonder and delight and kind deeds and friendships and relationships and hearts-knit-together and praise and gratitude and giving!
I like beautiful textures. The silky flow and weave of a gorgeous hand-knitted sweater…the shiny skin of an apple…the fat fleshy feel of a succulent leaf in my fingers…the spring of a cake top…the soft roundness of a chubby baby cheek…smooth leather of a Bible cover…the bumpy growth of squatty gourds…the plump bursting juiciness of Concord grapes…the candlewick nubbiness running across my chenille blanket…my fingers intertwined tightly around a warm mug…crusty crown on a fresh-baked loaf of bread… The feel-good sensory of life offering happiness in our days.
And I think we find some of the best feelings in our lives, are wound into the textures of our hearts, touching our souls within!
What is a texture you love and enriches your life in happy, little ways?

A soft pillow, petting my Yorkie, sitting in my mother’s recliner.
So many things in life that bless us and bring us happiness! 🙂
