Temperatures over a hundred degrees and ice cream desserts. Makes a pretty good combination, I’d say. If we’re going to have the first one, we might as well have the second to go with it! Let’s hear it for some Snickers Ice cream pie!
Ingredients Instructions Chop Snickers into small pieces. Dip a layer of vanilla ice cream into your graham cracker crust. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and caramel syrup if desired. Sprinkle with 1/3 of your chopped Snickers. Repeat layers. Spread Cool Whip on top and sprinkle remaining Snickers on top. Freeze. Serve and enjoy a frosty treat! Notes This is really a to-taste recipe! You can use whatever amount of syrup you want and any size of Snickers will work. Just chop up and add the amount you want. If you want a little candy or a lot~it all works!
I made this pie a few years after we were married and like to make it every now and then. I will forget about this recipe and then see it again and whip one up. Ice cream desserts are a fun summer treat!
What’s your favorite ice cream treat? When I was a kid I loved ice cream sandwiches. I remember making ice cream sandwiches one summer. My mother bought the cookie wafers at a little bulk food store. We thought it was lots of fun making them and then having them around to eat. I never liked ice cream bars very well. I wasn’t real fond of the chocolate on the outside. I’m still not an ice cream bar fan, although I’ve had some premium deluxe bars that were pretty tasty.
If it’s hot where you are, I hope your week involves some kind of ice cream treat! And you can hop over here to the Summertime Celebration Giveaway and enter to win a flexi!
