I found a package on my porch last Friday and guess what was inside?!
I was pretty confident I knew what it was going to be, as I’d been anticipating its arrival AND the little detail of a brown box tightly taped with packaging tape bearing the words (in)courage Devotional Bible across it! 🙂
I opened the box to find this beautiful, devotional Bible inside! Lovely cover, lovely soft, blue color, lovely etched design! The cover is smooth and soft and I love running my fingers over it.
This Bible has been a long-worked on project, involving many people. 122 women have shared their writing and stories as devotionals sprinkled among the pages. Many of them are written by some of my favorite authors.
I’ll list only a few of them, {and link to some of their blogs} but I thank them ALL for sharing their time and talents, stories and words with us.
Rachel Anne Ridge, Sally Clarkson, Kaitlyn Bouchillon, Sarah Mae, Jennifer Dukes Lee, Alia Joy, Wynter Pitts, Tam Hodge, September McCarthy, Melissa Michaels, Lauren Chandler, Holley Gerth, Denise J. Hughes, Christie Purifoy, and Tricia Goyer to name a few…………..
The Bible is life and truth no matter how it is bound, but I am very excited about all the lovely editions that have been compiled in the last few years. I love beauty and I think many women do and it blesses me to study the Word and journal or handletter in a beautiful way as an extension of my study.
This Bible is available in several colors and cover options. AND I get to host a giveaway for a Bible to go to one of YOU! A great, big thank-you to Joy, and all the team at (in)courage for sharing with us for this giveaway!

This Bible organization bag is handy-dandy for Bible journaling. It has an outside pocket on each side. Two zippered clear pouches as well as an inside pocket and two mesh pockets. It also unzips on each side to open up completely flat! I love all the features it offers! This bag will be available at (in)courage and Dayspring a little later this fall. Dayspring has organizing bags made in this style, but different prints. And they’re super cute! You can find them right here.
Dayspring also has lots of fun Bible journaling kits, pens, stickers, washi, stamps and more! Check out their kits here. I ordered a few kits last year and it was a fun way for me to collect a few journaling tools. I like the themed kits and it was fun happy mail to receive and look through all the things in each kit. Oh, and watch for sales! They often have pretty good sales. 🙂
This picture shows a size comparison for you with a couple of my other pretty Bibles!

I have been looking at journaling Bibles and ones with devotions in them and thinking I want one but there are so many to choose from!
There are a lot! And I love that there are, yet it does make it harder to decide on one. 🙂 I do also think that probably once you decide on one, you will like it because they all have neat features!
I do have several bibles from our large family bible to a small one that I’ve had since I was 18. The smaller one is well used & well loved. I like the size of the (In) Courage bible that you’re so generouly giving away. I like the soft outter cover and getting older I need a little larger bible to see it better, (I’m not at large print yet. haha). I love your bible organization bag and am going to have to check that one out. 🙂 I could & have spent hours looking at Daysprings items. Thanks so much for the chance to win Deborah. Have a beautiful day!
What a neat collection of Bibles you have!
This Bible from (in)courage is a nice size. And I agree, I love so many Dayspring items too! 🙂
Thanks for your kind and happy words!
I have a BibLie collection of about 30 Bibles. I’m currently using an NIV Large Print Bible at Church, HCSB The Study Bible for Women and ESV Study Bible.
That sounds so neat! I would love to see your collection!
My favorite bible is the Love Languages Devotional Bible that my older sister gave me and husband with our names on them, beautiful bible! I do have a small collection old bibles that I’ve picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. I love that blue cover, it’s gorgeous and thank you for sharing!
Your favorite Bible and your collection both sound lovely, Sally!
The cover on this Bible is beautiful, isn’t it?!
My favorite Bible is my Sword Study Bible. I love the print and the features. However, I have been looking st this Bible.
It’s such a blessing to have a favorite Bible and to have more than one, isn’t it? I have enjoyed growing a small collection of Bibles.
I have the bible given to me as a child. Since I am older than dirt, so is my bible!!! I am afraid to open it, as it has been falling apart. I would greatly appreciate a working bible that I could use. I love the case and the extras too!
Haha! You made me laugh, Bonnie! Your Bible sounds like a treasure, though!
Absolutely !!! It sits on the bookshelf behind me. As I am sitting at my desk, it is like God is looking down on me, guiding me through the day.
I am looking for a new bible.
I really love all the lovely selection of Bibles available!
I love the blue of that Bible! I use the Bible I got for my baptism from my church (which was 28 years ago)!
Isn’t it pretty?! I think old Bibles are precious treasures too.
What a lovely give away to host, I would love to have a new bible, the current one I have has gone through several moves, and it well loved read well worn. The blue one you have is lovely and looks soft and the page borders are pretty too. The carry bag I’ll have to look for we have a shop nearby that carries Day Spring products.
Thank you for the chance to win.
This Bible is really soft and fun to feel.
I love so many of Dayspring’s products!
Thanks for coming by and entering the giveaway!
This is a great bible. I would love to win it in the giveaway. I have follow and read the books that Denise Hughes author and I’m sure this one with her devotional will be amazing to add to my reading.
I really appreciate Denise J. Hughes too and she was the editor for this Bible project.
Looking forward to getting the (in)courage bible.
It is lovely!

Your Bible collection sounds wonderful! How special to have your Grandma’s Bible.
I can’t say that I have a favorite bible but I do have several that I switch between regularly. My plan is to have a bible for each of my 4 kids to inherit. I want it to be full of notes, prayers, revelations from my time spent with God etc. I would love to have a copy of this bible!
I love this idea to have a Bible for each of your children. What a blessing and heritage to pass down!
I have several but keep going back to my Thomas Nelson Study Bible. For Bible journaling I use the My Creative Bible.
It’s special to have a favorite and also neat to have a specific journaling Bible.
I have no idea where my comment went… Oops! I do have a few bibles that I use regularly, my intentions with each is to write notes, prayers, revelations from my time with God, etc. and give one to each of my 4 kids once they grow up. ♡
Sometimes it takes a while for comments to show up! 🙂
I have a small collection. I still have the Bible I was given as a little girl from the church we attended.
How special! Love this.
We have a family bible and some kids bibles and devotionals.
Wonderful collection!
I am currently using a NIV Bible that I take to Church. I also have a study Bible that I like to use throughout the week.
One of my favorite Bibles is my NIV women’s study Bible I’ve used for over nine years. 🙂
I have a small collection of devotional and study Bibles. I just love reading the Holy Scriptures. My favorite is an NIV Commemorative Bible given to me by my Pastor. I really treasure it. I hope to win this giveaway. The Bible looks beautiful. Thank you! 😊
Your Commemorative Bible definitely sounds special!
