Breakfast-in-a-box.
Or whatever you have/want-to-use for your box!
This gift idea is something I’ve put together a few times over the years and gifted for birthdays.
I’ve done a variety of things.
I’ve started with a brown, cardboard box and gift wrapped it.
And I’ve gone this route………..using a fun or pretty container to hold everything.
It totally depends on my timing/planning ahead/finding a container I like!
This time I used my burlap ribbon from Burlap Fabric to add some pizzazz to the outside of my metal tub. This ribbon is so fun! I am really loving it.
They also offer colors. And they have chevron burlap ribbon and burlap and lace. Go check out all the burlap ribbons here!
{Burlap Fabric also has some terribly cute burlap banners right here.}
I pulled my burlap ribbon around the tub and tied it snugly!
On to the next fun part!!! Filling the tub!
Every time I’ve put together a breakfast-in-a-box, I’ve started with a pineapple and some kind of juice.
Both items are tall and they add texture and color to your gift!
Then just add fun food items or favorite foods of the person you are gifting!
I usually make a breakfast casserole.
I’ve baked something like coffeecake or muffins before. Or I buy the baked items.
This time I bought some yummy muffins from Dillons bakery and grabbed a bag of powdered donuts. {Because, can you really go wrong with powdered donuts???!! 🙂 }
I also added in some coffee drinks and green tea.
This time I also added a few relaxing bathtime items with my breakfast things.
New washcloths. Towels do last a long time, yet they also get worn and faded and new washcloths are fun!
EOS lipbalm. Another of my favorites!
A cozy robe and bubble bath. All set!
I stuck some fun gold, glitter tape on the container of decadent chocolate muffins.
I really love to keep some fun tape and washi tape around. It makes it super simple to add a bright touch to gifts or packages or envelopes.
Bright ribbon went around the poppyseed muffins!
Wrap up the breakfast casserole and ready to deliver!
How fun is that?!!
Do you have a favorite gift package you like to give?
I have to say that taking a bag or bucket or cute container and filling it with fun items is one of my favorite things and ways to put a gift together!
This Parcels, Papers and Packages post shows some other gifts “wrapped in plain sight”. 🙂
*Oh, and my opinions about the fun, burlap ribbon are 100% my own. Thanks to Burlap Fabric for sending it to me to use.

I hope you weren’t directly affected by all the fires.
We were not. They certainly have been devastating in some areas.
What a fun bundle to create, and give, and RECEIVE!
It is fun to put together! Each one is unique.
Yes. I always think about what I would enjoy receiving. Although that can vary from person to person. But I usually know some things that my friends especially like.
