Poured Out Like Wine

I thought this pitcher of grape juice looked so pretty. As I watched the juice pour in a stream into the pitcher the words of this song played into my mind and then fell from my lips in song…{although I couldn’t recall all the words. 🙂 }

Would you be poured out like wine
upon the altar for Me?

to feed the hungry?

It sent me searching to find all the words and thinking about posting it here.

It’s not always easy to be poured out.

Certainly not nearly, nearly as easy as it was for me to pour the juice, dark and shimmering into the pitcher.

Thank-you, Jesus for being light and life and love for me.

Thank-you, Jesus for being the Word fulfilled for me.

Thank-you, Jesus for being bread and wine for me.
