We have another book giveaway today!
Parenting by Paul David Tripp.
I have been very impressed with this book.
It applies so many practical Biblical principles to our relationship with our children and our teaching and training and guiding them. It shows the much bigger picture of teaching them to follow God compared to simply turning out a well-behaved child.
Each chapter has a one-word title.
A few of them are ~
Chapter 1. Calling
Β Chapter 2. Grace
Β Chapter 4. Inability
Chapter 10. Character
Each chapter also has a principle listed below the title.
The principle for chapter 4 is this ~
Recognizing what you are unable to do is essential to good parenting.
I would recommend this book to parents no matter what age your children are. Even if you don’t have kids, you could read this book, because many of the ideas and principles can be applied to all relationships.
Here’s a brief synopsis about this book from the front inside flap.
